Easter??

Happy Easter! Honestly it's a little bit depressing that this is my first holiday away from my family. So, to cheer me up I knew I wanted to see the Easter Parade. Luckily Ashley was also off today. So we went to Magic Kingdom and caught the parade and then had lunch at Pecos Bill's.

Next we headed to Animal Kingdom, got a FastPass for Everest. Then we went on the Primeval Whirl, which was the first time she had been on it. Also, there was a little boy who was riding for the first time. He was so nervous, but in the end he loved it and said let's go again.

Next we rode Dinosaur, Ashley gets pretty freaked out on this ride but I told her it was no big deal so we rode it. Everest was actually only a 20 minute wait so we got on. After that we headed to the Kali River Rapids. We got soaked! Thank good was it was warm today. Since, I was reading about it in my book, I asked Ashley if she wanted to do the Maharajah Jungle Trek and so we did that, it was pretty cool. We saw tigers, lizards
and a whole lot of birds! Soon after it was time to return to Everest. When we went to give our FastPasses to the guy he just said no, keep them. Only later did we figure out that Ashley knew the guy. So, we went on again and he let us keep them again! It was pretty cool. On our way out we got ice cream.

Next we headed to Hollywood Studios. We rode Tower of Terror, twice. Then we got in line for Rockin Roller Coaster and it broke down after we waited in line for at least 20 minutes. We weren't to happy about that. So, we rode Tower of Terror two more times. Rockin was still closed so we left. We then went to Art of Animation and ate dinner there. Ashley's family were flying in so she needed to get to her hotel. She grabbed some stuff at her apartment and I drove her to All-Star Movies. I helped carry her bags to her room and when we got there housekeeping hadn't even done the room! First front desk said they would send someone to do it, then they said we will get you a new room. They did credit them 50 dollars. Then her mom and sister showed up and she burst into tears it was so sweet. I helped them find there room and carry bags and then headed back. Funny... If I hadn't known it was Easter, I wouldn't have known.

One tiring day = Two Days Off!!

Today was very tiring. Six checkouts and two linen changes. Some people who stay here are really disgusting. The things I've seen while doing this job are just gross. Anyway thanks to a Do Not Disturb and a room that only wanted towels, I got done at 4.

After work I went to the gas station, got gas, a car wash and vaccummed out my car. I also skyped with my mom, she's not liking the fact that I won't be home for Easter this year, I feel bad. After that I headed to my new home away from home the Polynesian. I just sat on the beach and read until the sun went down. Then since I was interested in watching the Easter parade tomorrow I looked up the times and found out their was an Easter Egg Display at the Grand Floridian, so I drove there.

The eggs were amazing! Wait til you see the pictures! They are gorgeous! They are all about a foot tall and completely edible! It's amazing the things Disney does!!

After that, Steven woke up from his nap and asked me to meet him at Magic Kingdom. I grabbed a hot dog at Caseys Corner. When I finally found him, we rode all three mountains. Splash, then Big Thunder and finally Space.

Then we went to Walmart cause Steve wanted to dye eggs. He told me to come over but I'm pretty beat so I don't think I will.

Spring Break is kicking my butt!

This morning we had our morning meeting, but instead of it being the same old meeting we had a celebration! It was a thank you to all the housekeepers. The managers got donuts and juice for everyone and then they took time thanking us building by building, all while music was playing, people were clapping, dancing. It was actually kinda fun!

Work however was not. I had 5 checkouts and 4 linen changes. Also, one room which had to be cleaned a specific way with a machine cause it smelled like cigarettes in there. I didn't take a lunch but by some miracle I finished by 4:00.

After work I checked on Steve at work since I knew he was sick and he went to work anyway. I got another Lava Smoothie at the pool bar at Animal Kingdom Lodge (not as good as the one at the Polynesian). He asked me to bring him DayQuil. So instead of driving all the way back to the apartment, I went to Target 5 minutes away. And naturally bought more stuff then I should have. I went back gave him his DayQuil and called Cici's Pizza. I got my pizza and went back to the apartment. I got back and ate at about 8 and I set an alarm cause Steve wanted to go to Magic Kingdom but I said he shouldn't cause he's sick. So I fell asleep about 9 and woke at 10:30 with the alarm. Turned it off and fell back asleep.

Spring Break is Crazy!!!

It was so tough to get out of bed today. It was only 46 degrees when I left. Work was rough I had 9 linen changes and 9 occupieds not horrible but not easy. I finished my 9 occupieds and had one Do Not Disturb. So I went to lunch and got to est for a half hour. Shaye ended up helping me by the end of the day so that was good!

After work I went to Target and then the Post Office. I got to talk to my friends at the Hallmark store for a little bit which was perfect. I decided to head back to the Polynesian but this time as suggested I got a drink. I got a lava smoothie (non-alcoholic) its raspberry mixed with piña colada, oh my god it's amazing! So I drank that on the beach.

Next I headed to Animal Kingdom Lodge to check on Steve cause he said he wasn't feeling to good and I had dinner there at the Mara. I stayed a little longer and read my book for awhile and then I headed back to the apartment. Not a super exciting day I know but the attack of the spring breakers is killing me. Just so you know how crazy it is. There has been over a 4 hour wait for Rockin Roller Coaster. For Soarin 205 minutes (that's 3 hours and 15 minutes in case you wanted to know and the Magic Kingdom has had up to 80,000 people in one day, that is full capacity! It is nuts.

Thank goodness for the beach!

Work was okay. I just had 18 regular rooms. The manager checked one of my rooms and she said I'm doing a great job. It took me longer because they were putting new thermostats in all the rooms i was doing so that was great. I actually got to take a 45 minute lunch it was wonderful! I finished at 3:30.

I ended up helping Shaye she is a CP too and she's helped me in the past, she ended up having 9 checkouts and at 3:30 she had still had 8 rooms! We rushed like crazy and by some miracle finished by 4:30.

After work I decided to drive to the Polynesian Resort and sit on the beach with my book. I did that for a good hour and half. It wasn't super warm but it was sunny so it was awesome! Then I went to the Art of Animation Resort and got dinner.

Next I headed back to the apartment and met up with Steve and we went to Magic Kingdom. We did the Peoplemover and Astro Orbiter. Then Steve made me ride Mad Tea Party for the first time... It was awful! Next we headed to Storybook Circus and rode Dumbo!

We got Cakepops at Storybook Circus and then we saw Mickey's Philarmagic. Then back to Tommorowland to ride Space Mountain

So much crap in one day

Work was seriously a nightmare today! First we had our morning meeting and then the manager asked me to drive the extra pargo, so I had the keys and I said to Martha who I saw waiting that I would give her a ride and everyone jumped on! It was fine until I got to the tight space in between the pole and the wall and I hit, everyone like fell forward, it was like watching a car crash. No one got hurt or anything it just looked bad.

Anyways, I had two checkouts and eight linen changes. I got a text from the one roommate telling me I should come help him clean the apartment after work because we have an inspection tomorrow. However I am not the one who has parties or people over so forget that! Later when my cart was by one of my rooms, the wind must have grabbed it and pulled it down the hill it was by. All the way down! It was awful! Then I couldn't push it back up so I needed the house person, he did help but he was talking to someone nearby in kreoyl or however you spell their language and then after saying a few things in that language he turns to me and says do you speak French and I said no. So clearly they were talking about me!

After work my mom looked into my ticket and I may not have to take a driver course to not get points on my license! After that I went to Universal with Steven. We rode Flight of the Hippograpth and stupidly waited 70 minutes for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Next we ate right there some British pub. Steve also got me a chocolate frog!!! Next we rode the Dr Seuss train and the Cat in Hat. Then the park was closing. So we left and headed back to the apartments.

Boring Day

This morning I thought I was gonna be late but in reality I got to work a little early. I only had three checkouts and a lot of 724's ( check for bedbugs) and that was my day at work.

After work I came back to the apartment, grabbed my sheets and towels and threw them in the wash. Got gas and dinner. Moved them to the dryer, ate and I was gonna take my 4 hour course for my ticket, but I wanted to be 100% sure I was taking the right one so after talking to my mother we decided it was best to wait.

I got my sheets, made the bed and watched this creepy movie called Case 39 on Netflix. Now I am off to bed. I know not that exciting of a day, but since spring break is in full swing the parks are crowded, the waits are long and the people are careless so it wasn't worth the hassle.

All four parks in one day!

Today Steve and I had full intentions on going to Blizzard Beach but it was kinda gloomy and Steve had to do laundry. So I went over to his apartment and we watched Glee. We grabbed some lunch from CiCi's before starting the next episode and when it came time for us to leave cause Steve had work, it was down pouring!

Steve went to work and I just headed back to my apartment. My new roommate was there, cooking something. We said the usual hey and I just went in my room. About ten minutes later I hear some girl come in and they are chatting up a storm. I found out there was a tornado warning for our area and then the rain just calmed down.

I thought maybe I would go somewhere and then I noticed that it was silent so I walked out, noticed the door to the other bedroom was closed and the girl's shoes were by the door....I'll let you fill in the blanks. I went to Animal Kingdom Lodge and visited Steve. Then I felt like screaming so I went to Hollywood Studios and rode Tower of Terror and then Rockin Roller Coaster.

I completely forgot Ashley was working Rockin Roller Coaster gift shop so I talked to her for a bit. Next I went to Animal Kingdom and rode Everest. Then I headed to Epcot, I wanted to do the Easter Egg Hunt but I guess they ran out of boards this morning so no more prize for that. So I rode Test Track and then left there.

Finally I went to Magic Kingdom. I got my cards and headed for Frontierland, waited a good 20-30 minutes to ride Splash Mountain and then as soon as I'm next to get on they are having technical difficulties, I did get a FastPass for anything in the Magic Kingdom, good until the 31st! Then I was gonna ride Big Thunder but the wait was to long so I got some food at Pecos Bill and checked again. Splash was still closed, Big Thunder almost an hour wait, so I checked Space Mountain and that was over an hour. So I gave up and headed back to the apartment. Maybe one day I will ride all the big rides in one day, but at least I can now say I've been to all four parks in one day!

Crazy but Fun Day

Well for the first time in a month and a half I hung out with Ashley, the girl from the beginning of the program. She explained the whole situation with that guy so I know what's going on now.

Today was the day Steven promised to ride Tower of Terror so we went to Hollywood Studios. Since Steven wasn't there yet I got some Tower of Terror pins for his I did it hat. Then Ashley and I got a churro (since she had no clue what that was) and a pretzel. Shortly after that Steve showed up with Ricky and they had me take some pictures on Ricky's Polaroid camera.

We got our FastPasses for Tower of Terror. In the meantime we rode Star Tours. Then we watched Muppet Vision 3-D. Then it was time, we got on Tower of Terror and Steve actually did it!!! We then headed to grab food and as we were walking we saw Ross Lynch from the Disney channel show Austin and Ally filming some promo or something. Even though we weren't supposed to take pictures I got a quick one.

We had lunch at the ABC Commissionary. Steve left cause he had work and so did Ricky. So since Ashley was working in the Rockin Roller Coaster Gift Shop tomorrow we got her costume. Then I drove her to work. I then visited Steven at work. Since I had nothing to do I thought it would be cool to ride all the big rides in all the parks. I went back to Hollywood Studios and the wait for Tower was way over an hour and Rockin Roller Coaster was closed.

So, I headed to Animal Kingdom. I rode the Kali River Rapids and got my Fastpass for it. Then I rode Everest twice. Next was Epcot, I headed to Test Track but they shut it down right after I got in line. So, I grabbed a drink at Club Cool and then went to MouseGears and visited Ashley.

By then I was tired and hungry so I didn't go to Magic Kingdom. I went to Target to prepare for the long week ahead and got a pizza to go at CiCi's. When I got back to the apartment no one was there so I went to my room. Five minutes later like a dozen people walked into the apartment turned on this loud music and it literally sounded like a rave. Apparently the new guy was having some sort of a party and he neglected to invite me or anyone else who lives there. Luckily when they heard me hey moved the party to next door. My roommate and I exchanged pins and I was gonna watch a movie but I crashed instead.

Holy cow I did a lot in one day!!

This morning I slept in later than I had anticipated, I didn't get out of bed til 9:30. When I finally got up, I got ready and met Steven at his work because he was dropping off his car. We went to Hollywood Studios. I told him he needs to go on Tower of Terror (at this point he has chickened out 5 times, as in he has made it all the way to where you get on and didn't, 5 times) so we got Fastpasses. In the meantime Rockin Roller Coaster was only a half hour wait so we rode that and he loves that so I don't get why he won't do it. Then we rode The Great Movie Ride, fun fact: did you know the plane that is in the scene from Casablanca in The Great Movie Ride only has half a plane in it, the front half is there on The Great Movie Ride and the back half is actually in The Jungle Cruise, I may have mentioned that before but I think that's awesome!

We grabbed some Macaroni N Cheese hot dogs for lunch and then it was time to ride Tower. Steve complained that his stomach was upset and I couldn't tell if he was taking it or not so I called his best friend back home, Katlyne and she told me to let him go today but he will go on it tomorrow. So he pinky swore her and me and I will get him to sign a little contract I wrote up stating he will give me all his Mickey ears if he doesn't.

After I dropped him off I dashed to the Magic Kingdom, got my picture and autographs with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, got my sorcerer cards and left then I headed to Downtown Disney for some pins that still aren't in yet but will be by April. Next I went to Supercuts and got my haircut by this cute girl. Then after getting stuck in traffic, I went to Epcot and I wanted to get Steve an ear hat the said "I conquered Tower of Terror" but since Tower of Terror is a copyrighted phrase I could not so I just got "I did it" then I met my roommate at Epcot and we did the Easter Egg Hunt around the countries (sort of).

On our way out we played the carnival games in Oz and then left. I got back to the apartment, did some laundry while I watched Glee and then in a bit, I'm gonna go to Wawa with Stee to talk to him about a surprise in the making...

Even on days off, you're always running

Today started my long weekend. I woke up around 8. Got ready and everything and then went to Universal with Steven. We grabbed some Starbucks at Citywalk and then he finally got his season pass! We didn't have time to do much so all we rode was Revenge of the Mummy, which was Steve's first time! Men in Black and The Simpsons Ride. Right before we left we grabbed lunch at Panda Express. After lunch I had to drive him to work cause he started at 3:30.

After dropping him off I went to the Post Office and mailed out the money order for my stupid ticket with a copy of it. Next I wanted to get my picture with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom. I figured if I parked at the Contemporary, went in trading pins and walked out I could then just walk over to Magic Kingdom.

Unfortunately,I took to long at the Contemporary and didn't make it so I Skyped with my mom. Then I texted my roommate and we met up at Hollywood Studios. He got the R2D2 bucket of churros, which I loved cause I finally got the churros I have been wanting!!! Next we got a FastPass for Tower of Terror and then we went on Star Tours. After that we headed back and then used our FastPass for Tower of Terror! He had gotten us a reservation at the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater.

So after Tower it was time.I wanted to go on Rockin Roller Coaster but the wait was always to long. Then we ate at the Sci-Fi. Food was okay but I did like the Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake. After that when we got back we noticed that some furniture was rearranged and that next door is having a party. So, we don't know if they had one here or not but it is loud next door. I did a quick Wawa run with Steven and I'm gonna crash

Long Day of Work = 4 Days Off

Work was rough today. Seven checkouts, a linen change and I was I was on two different floors. But some how I made it through. The manager Toni who is the actual manager, introduced herself because she was out on medical leave. She seems nice. After work was over I was talking to my mom because I have the next four days off I thought about coming home to visit. It didn't work out, since it was last minute everyone seemed to be busy and to tickets were outrageous (around 500) so we forgot about that idea.

After that Steven had texted me saying to meet him at Magic Kingdom and so I did. I told him I wanted to ride Everest. So after meeting up, him and the two friends he had with him (Chris and Javier) came with us and we all went to Animal Kingdom. We rode Everest 4 times! (It was Javier's first time). Then we rode the Primeval Whirl. Javier didn't ride with us cause he said his stomach was upset so he had to rest. After that we left and we headed back to Magic Kingdom.

We were all pretty hungry so we ate at Pecos Bills. Then we headed over to Splash Mountain! It had been closed since January and it finally opened up today. It was mine and Steven's first time. It's a nice little ride, that I once again thought would be way worse then it was. I don't know that I would do it at night again unless its really hot but it was fun. Next we rode mountain number two Big Thunder, I mean a 10 minute wait.. Who wouldn't??

By the time we were done there we headed over to the castle to watch Wishes. We then headed back towards Liberty Square to let the crowd clear and we rode Haunted Mansion. Finally we headed towards the third and final mountain, Space Mountain. For some reason I wanted to ride the Astro Orbiter but it was closed by the time we got off Space so we headed out. Now to figure out the plan for tomorrow, pictures will be posted within the next four days!!

My two favorite parks all after work!

This mornings meeting was thrilling as usual. I got 6 checkouts but really I was supposed to be in a section with 17 checkouts thank goodness the manager moved me! I also got to drive. Pargo today, that was fun only bad part was when I hit the wall but we didn't tip or anything had so I'd say I did good.

After work I met up with Steven at Hollywood Studios, we rode Star Tours, which I got my complimentary FastPass for ( as in the one I'm gonna keep) and then we rode Rock N Roller Coaster. I wanted to do Tower of Terror but Steve is still terrified of it so I just got my Fastpass instead. Then we went to Magic Kingdom.

We mostly went there to ride Splash Mountain but it doesn't open until tomorrow, not today. So we rode Big Thunder. Then we ate a late dinner at Tonys Towne Square. I gave Steve a gift I got him, a new set of Mickey ears with my best pal stitched on the back :) he loved them! After that we rode Jungle Cruise and then Space Mountain. Once again I will post pictures soon!

Easy days come back to bite you

My board at work today was good. I had no checkouts (believe me tomorrow will make up for it). Since I only had occupieds I was more than half way done at noon. So I took a lunch for a half hour. Then I finished my rooms up by 2. Since I had nothing to do the manager sent me to help another housekeeper. I helped her in 5 of her rooms and then just went back to the managers office. She really wants me to drive a pargo ( one of the golf carts used to to transport housekeepers to and from the buildings) so I was supposed to be trained but that didn't happen so she claims she will teach me herself tomorrow morning.

After work I decided to go to Universal Studios. I went to Islands of Adventure first, I wanted to take some pictures because everytime I go it seems like its just go go go! I also ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippograth.. After that I headed to Universal Studios and rode The Simpsons Ride and since the park was closing I caught the last showing of Shrek 4-D. I also got a text from that girl who kinda blew me off, Ashley and she apologized for what she did and says she realizes how nasty that was and is trying to change her life for the better. Finally I headed to Downtown Disney and got some pins. Now I'm gonna head back and go to bed. As I often say pictures coming soon!

Boring Days after work

My day back at work after two days off was not be best. I had the most checkouts I've ever had...7 and to top it all off when I was going into my last one these boys from a middle school band had a room that I didn't do yet so they had to wait for me and front desk just doesn't care. The worst part was when they referred to me as "the cleaning guy" I have never been so insulted in my life.

After work my roommate and I were gonna go to Raglan Road to celebrate St. Patrick's Day but we figured they would be packed so we went to Hollywood Studios and we were gonna go to the Sci-Fi theater but the park closed at 8 and it was already 7:30 so we rode Star Tours and left.

Since my roommate took a wrong turn we ended up eating at Art of Animation Resort. After we ate we walked around since he had never see it before. After that we came back and I wrote out a few postcards and now I'm gonna go to bed cause I'm pooped besides our new roommate moves in .

Goodbyes are bittersweet

Today I actually got to sleep in until 10 until housekeeping was banging on the door because they were cleaning our apartment because we have a new roommate coming on Monday. They came in and cleaned everything. They were there for at least 45 minutes. They left and I got ready. Steven's friend Katlyne was going home today and I wanted to say goodbye! We went to Downtown Disney and ate at Wolfgang Pucks for lunch. We shopped and we were gonna do the hot air balloon but he wait was to long.

We shopped some more, got our free chocolate at Ghirardelli and then at 4 we had to head back to Saratoga Springs to drop Katlyne off for Magical Express. It was a bittersweet moment. I gave her a card and a couple little things just cause she is such a nice girl and she was just one of those people I clicked with instantly. It was sad to see her go, she cried.

The roommate that I hang out with moved into my room today so I don't have to room with the new person, thank goodness. Steven brought us back to Chatham and I went back to the apartment. Our other roommate thought we were giving him the cold shoulder. My roommate called him later and explained why he switched and he seemed to understand.

My roommate and I went to Magic Kingdom and met with the big cheese Mickey Mouse. I got a Fastpass to keep to meet him and actually got a surprise Fastpass for Dumbo which I also kept. We ate at Pecos Bill. Then Steven met up with us. We then got some dessert at Gaston's Tavern. The cinnamon roll was amazing! We rode the Peoplemover. Got a Fastpass for Peter Pan's Flight. Then we rode The Barnstormer and walked around the Circus Tent Gift Shop. I got a chocolate covered strawberry.

After that we watched Wishes and got a Fastpass for the Little Mermaid. Then we rode it right after wishes and again a second time using our Fastpass. After that we saw Mickey's Philarmagic, used our Fastpasses for Peter Pan. Then we booked it for Big Thunder Mountain. After that we ran to Tomorrowland and I rode the Astro Oribiter for the first time, not gonna lie its a little intimidating cause it's so high. Finally we ended the night by riding Space Mountain.

Two magic moments in one day!

This morning I had to wake up early because I had to go to the insurance company so they could look at my car and give me an estimate for the damages, after waiting 45 minutes they gave me an estimate of a little over a grand. I'm not sure what we are gonna do yet. After that I was starving and wanted a big breakfast so I went to Denny's.

Steven and Katlyne were going to Epcot for her last day in the parks and asked if I wanted to join so I did. When I got there,however, they had just left to change into shorts. So I bought some pins while I waited. When they came back we walked around to the different toparies of the garden festival.

Katlyne got the garden festival shirt, and Steve got yet another pair of Mickey Ears. After going to Canada and United Kingdom, we decided we wanted Mexican so we headed to Mexico. on the way there we walked right by this big opening by Canada that had all these hard to find characters. They had two lf the Country Bears, Brer Bear and Brer Fox from Song of the South/ Splash Mountain, Rafiki from the Lion King and Goofy. So we saw all of them and then ate lunch at La Angel de San Juan. I got the nachos this time, there was so many that even with help I still didn't finish. Steven's friend Ricky met up with us as well.

After lunch we went inside and rode the Gran Fiesta Tour which Steve had never been on. Then we went back outside and got our pictures with Donald in his Three Caballeros outfit. We then headed over to Norway. Ricky left cause he had to go to work. We got in line for the Maelstrom. Which nobody but me had ridden. I got my memorable Fast Pass for it and we rode that.

Next was China, we got to meet and take pictures with Mulan. Then as we were headed out we got to watch the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats. They did some awesome stuff, like the one girl was spinning a table on her feet and the guy was standing on top of a board that was on top of a can so it was rolling and he would put bowls on the other side and flip them into the bowl on top of his head. It was really cool!

My roommate met up with us and he walked the rest of the countries with us as we took pictures of all the toparies. In America we all got the Rocky Road Brownie which was good. After the rest of the countries we still hadn't ridden any rides yet so we headed over to Test Track and even though the wait was 70 minutes we got in line. My roommate was complaining about how it was dumb to wait that long just to ride that but Katlyne wanted to because it was her last day in the parks. So my roommate left because he had mentioned riding Mission Space, which I did not wanna ride and neither did Katlyne and he said I'm gonna leave and go do stuff.

So he left, I couldn't tell if he was pissed of not but I guess he was. Moments later the guy letting people on the ride asked us why he left and we were just like well he didn't want to wait cause now we're gonna miss the fireworks but it's her last day here so we want to ride this. So he said okay I can understand that and he opens the rope and says come with me, so we do and he has us stand outside the line while he grabs something. He gets a Rider Switch Pass which is a Fastpass that let's a group of people get on a ride while someone stays behind with a little kid. Of course we didn't have a little kid so we just got on the ride. He discreetly handed it to me and of course we thanked him but we wanted to thank him again on the way out and write him a compliment card but he wasn't there when we got out so we never got to! I felt awful so I'm thinking of going back to look for him.

Our 70 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait. Katlyne doesn't like the way they changed Test Track but we still had fun. Next we headed over to The Seas and rode the Seas with Nemo and friends. We then looked in the aquariums and waved to some scuba divers. We also found two hidden mickeys in the aquariums! We then got our pictures in Bruce's mouth and headed over to the Land. We waited in the 45 minute wait line for Soarin and missed the fireworks but that's alright. After that it was after 9 which meant that it was Extra Magic Hours only so without a resort key I couldn't ride anything.

We got some food at the Sunshine Seasons in the land. Then we just walked all the countries again while Steve sang Disney songs. In Italy two workers were playing soccer and Katlyne yells can we play! And they let us! How many people can say they kicked around a soccer ball with actual Italians in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot? We got a picture with them and the guy wanted one on his phone too! Two magic moments in one day! It was awesome! What a great day it was, I just hate to see Katlyne leave tomorrow I feel like she just got here and now she's leaving. Hopefully the day will be just as fun as today was.

Wishes

Work was not to bad today. I only had one checkout. My favorite part had to be when some sassy lady came into my room and said this is my vaccum and grabbed it and left. She could have just gotten another in the linen room but no, be a little b about it. I actually got to take an hour lunch today because at noon I only had 5 more rooms left so that was awesome. At the end of the day, Joanne gave me five bucks to stock her metro which was good cause that was the only tip I got today.

After work Steven was headed back to Saratoga Springs with Katlyne and he told me to meet them there. So, I got some pressed coins in the lobby, took some pictures and found there room. We just hung out for like two hours and then we went to Magic Kingdom. We got funnel cake at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments and then I got to wish an awesome little guy a Happy 5th Birthday. Steven and Katlyne sang to him too.

We then rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. After that we headed toward the castle and watched the Celebrate the Magic Castle Light Show and then Wishes. Then we wanted to watch the Electrical Parade but we had a little bit so we rode Haunted Mansion and then saw the parade.

The parade attendant told us that the lady who was the Fairy Godmother was also the first Cinderella when the park opened. . Then we rode Its A Small World. Next we wanted to ride Space Mountain but it just got closed so we did Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger and later Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. When I got back I saw a note that we will be getting a new roommate on Monday :(

I guess I do good at my job??

Today I had 6 checkouts and honestly that's a lot for me. I did them though. Unfortunately my last checkout was the one two guests were standing outside waiting for, clearly someone at front desk screwed up. They had to be waiting there for at least an hour if not more, I felt bad but honestly it wasn't my fault so I don't know what I was supposed to do.

The manager checked one of my rooms and said my bathrooms were great. He just told me that my bed sheets needed to be closer to the top. Also, Quality Managers checked one of my rooms and said I missed a spot on a mirror but I still got a 94 so that's good.

After work I headed over to Animal Kingdom. I met up with Steven and his friend from back home and we rode Everest. The reason they waited is because it was Stevens first time and I had to be there. After that we got dinner at Rainforest Cafe. For dessert we got the Brownie Volcano and OMG is that amazing! Then we headed back to Chatham, Steven grabbed his computer and then they headed to their hotel and I headed to the apartment. Not to bad of a day if you ask me!

It's all about who you know

Today was tiring. We had our morning meeting and then we got our assignments. I had five checkouts so not to bad. With my Do Not Disturbs, the two rooms that were set up as offices for the cheer competition and the one room that was already done. I finished at about 3:45. I stocked my cart and then just chilled out in the managers office, since technically I can't leave until 4:10.

Indy (the manager) had me sort the boards and just kinda help her out until she was done and since she offered to drive me back I said alright. So we discussed my day yesterday and she told me that she was gonna teach me how to drive a pargo which are the things that take the housekeepers to the buildings so that's pretty cool! She is truly the best manager, I don't know why she doesn't want to be a manager full time but oh well. So she drove me back and the conversations we have are just so easy, I feel like she really gets me and I don't know if it's cause she was a CP too or what but its great.

After work I went back to the apartment and just relaxed, I thought I was gonna do the pictures on here (which I swear I will do by the end of the week) but I ended up meeting with my friend Steven and his best friend from back home who is now staying here until Saturday. They were already in line for Rock 'N' Roller Coaster so I got in the single rider line cause I was not gonna wait in line after them. They actually caught up to me in the single rider line and we just rode together.

After that, we wanted to do Tower of Terror, both Steven and I had never done it. He was so nervous, this is the fourth time, the other three he chickened out and that's exactly what happened again. We were being loaded into the elevator and he chickened out again. I thought it was good, it wasn't as bad as the roller coaster so I don't see what the problem is. After that we saw Fantasmic! Love that show! Then I headed back and now I'm probably gonna go to bed. (Pics soon!)

Ending was at least fun

Today was the day from hell. I left for work like usual no problems, then my tire suddenly blows out. So I pull over, call triple AAA then I called my friend Heather from work and asked her who to call because I wasn't sure who to tell I was gonna be late so she told me to call in. So I did and so triple aaa came and put my spare tire on and the guy told me he couldn't put air Ihe tire so he suggested I go to the gas station to try. So I got off the side of the road and I merged to the middle lane and finally right before I make it to the far left and bam, car accident. The lady hit me and my rear left bummer was really hit. The front driver side of her car wasn't to bad zand her windshield was cracked. She started yelling at me cause she was in a rental car and the air bags deployed.

I called the police while she called work. The state trooper came, gave me a ticket for careless driving and let us exchange information. I was afraid to drive the car because of the thing in my car saying the tire pressure being low. So I again tried to get to Hess and made it. Called my roommate who brought me clothes since I was in my work uniform and he came. I called a tow truck and the guy told me that the sensor wasn't hooked up to the spare tire so of course it was gonna say low tire pressure. Anyway it was good to drive so I took it to the car care center near Magic Kingdom.

They replaced my tires and reattached the bummer to the best of their ability and they let me go. My roommate took me to get a money order because that's what I need to send in to pay the fine. And since I was having such a bad day we decided to make what was left of it fun. We grabbed some food and then we went to Universal.

We did the Terminator 2 3-D that was pretty cool. The Simpsons Ride, awesome! Men in Black, I can't believe how much I liked that ride! Then I was forced to ride the Revenge of the Mummy Roller Coaster but it wasn't bad at all. After that we did the Twister simulator which was lame. Then we wanted to go to the other park but it was closed for some group Grainger I think? Then we went back and decided to wait in line for the Despicable Me ride, which was pretty cool. My favorite part had to be when I got to take my picture with a minion and they have like a dance party like the end of the movie it's cute!

After that we went to Walmart. I talked to my best friend on the phone! And finally, my roommate made is crepes that were delicious so the day ended a little better then it started. Pictures will be done tomorrow since I have to come back to the apartment to do things.

I'm pretty exhausted..wonder why?

This morning I woke up and honestly felt like I hadn't even went to bed yet. First of all with the whole spring forward thing I lost an hour of sleep and when I went to work it was still kinda dark out. Second, since I got home so late or should I say early I honestly slept for like two hours. Luckily, my board wasn't to bad today. I had no checkouts, 3 linen changes and the rest all just occupieds. One better I had a DND (Do Not Disturb) and one of my linen changes only wanted towels! So that made it easier! For once around 1 o'clock I had only 4 rooms left so I TOOK A LUNCH!!! Can you believe it? It was only like 20 minutes but still I was so happy I got to sit down even it was just for 20 minutes! The worst part of the day was my last room. I went in and a cheerleader was in there and she said I could clean because she was just doing her hair, (there's a big cheer competition here). She stood in front of the mirror while I did almost everything, I couldn't however clean the sink or mirror. So, I just looked busy and then her parents joined the party sitting on the bed and there all like oh no it's fine you can keep cleaning, she's gonna be a while anyway! Eventually, I just vaccumed and left I couldn't wait anymore for that girl to do her hair, she literally was doing it for like half an hour. Honestly, you're gonna be jumping all around anyway does it really matter what your hair looks like?

I finished around, 3:30 and just waited til I could leave. After work I went to Downtown Disney. I got some pins, bath stuff and dinner. I started at Gharidelli for my free chocolate of course! Then I went to the bath store and got some salts and stuff so I could possibly take a relaxing break after work. After that I headed to the pin store and got pins of all the roller coasters I've conquered over the last few weeks. Finally I ended up at Earl of Sandwich. I couldn't decide between the Hawaiian BBQ or the Holiday Turkey so I got both! They were both amazing! The Holiday Turkey tasted just like Thanksgiving Dinner and the Hawaiian BBQ tastes like you just ate at a luau! I skyped with my mom for a bit and now I'm going to take a bath with some bath salts for my sore back and aching feet. After that I'm more than likely gonna pass out. I WILL DEFINITELY POST PICTURES TOMORROW!!! I SWEAR!!!!

Oz The Great and Powerful

Today I had to go back to work. I only had 3 checkouts and one linen change so no that bad of a board. Luckily Shaye, another CP got done super early and helped me finish early as well! I got done about 3:45. I got a ton of Gatorade and water. Only one 5 dollar tip because they wanted a handful of pens so I gave it to them. I have Shaye two dollars of the five since she helped me out.

I had to rush back to get to the apartment because I needed to get the correct key before the front desk closed at 5. I didn't think I was gonna make it so I called the front desk and told them that they gave me the wrong key and asked if there was anyway I could still get mine after five. And she says security can let you in cause we open again tomorrow and I said I know but I work all day again tomorrow. So she put me on hold and said I'll make an exception and give it to security, so I got it after explaining the whole situation to them cause they didn't know about it.

Security had to ask front desk for conformation and finally I got my new key. I went to visit Steven at work cause he was at the Kidani Village Pool as opposed to Jambo House, i mostly went because we were going to see Oz. Then I went to Target. After that I headed back to the apartment,ate and then took an hour and a half nap. Steven picked me up at about 11:30 and we saw Oz at 11:50 of course I forgot about the spring forward so I got back at 3:30. So since I will truly be exhausted from work I will post pictures tomorrow!

Pushing the petal to the metal on Rock 'N' Roller Coaster

This morning I took it easy and tried to sleep in but that lasted until maybe 8 something. Then I decided I should get up and do laundry since I never got to yesterday for some reason.... My friend from work Heather wanted to meet up Hollywood Studios so I headed over there of course I had to wait for the laundry to get done and I had to get the new key for my apartment since they are supposedly changing the locks but they didn't tell me they weren't already changed so I had to get security to let me in because now my key didn't work and I had to turn in the old one.

I finally met Heather at around 1. We rode Star Tours first, that adventure was easier than the first one I did plus this one had Darth Vader. After that I got lunch at Backlot Express and they gave me my tray they all clapped and said I had the magic tray and got a free dessert on Mickey! I had never heard of such a thing so it was awesome! I got a marble cheesecake in case you're wondering. Then we rode The Great Movie Ride which is always one of my favorites. Shortly after that Heather got an ice cream. I didn't want one cause we had mentioned riding Rock 'N' Roller Coaster and I didn't want to be sick.

My roommate had wanted to be on it with me when I rode it for the first time so I let him know and be headed over. Heather had a cold all day so after we saw Muppet Vision 3-D, she headed out and I got in the 70 minute wait line for Rock 'N' Roller Coaster. He got there and texted me saying he didn't want to cut through the line, so I went on by myself. I sat in the very back and I'll admit I didn't even notice going upside down, the part that freaked me out was the take off when you suddenly go like 0 to 65 in like 3 seconds. After I got off I wanted to ride again, mostly because the first time you really are just holding on for dear life and not really enjoying the ride and the second time you do. This time since I knew I was by myself I got in the single rider line and I actually saw my roommate waiting in the regular line. So, I got his attention and he waited for me and we rode together. I didn't realize however that he asked for us to sit in the front row....

Boy is it different in the front, I definitely noticed the upside down part then and the corkscrew. Seriously I don't know if I will ever sit in the front again! I mean the back wasn't bad but the front...yikes! When I went on the first time and it stopped, I was like "That was it?" cause I thought it was gonna be way worse! But the second time since I felt everything I was like wow that's scary! But, I would go on again! After that Hollywood Studios was closing so I headed back to my apartment because I wanted to talk with my sis back home on skype. My roommate wanted me to go see the new Oz movie with him and I wanted to but he wanted to go early and I wanted to skype first so he want alone...at least I think he did, I haven't heard from him since we left the park.
When I got back to the apartment, my key didn't work. (I had to get a new key because they changed the locks on our apartment because of our one roommate going home), well my new key didn't work, that's because they gave us the wrong keys. So security had to test my key to make sure I wasn't making it up and when they saw I wasn't they had to take another 20 mins to find someone with a master key or whatever. So finally some guy comes and let's me in and I ask him if I can get a copy of the key and he says there are no copies and I said so you mean to tell me that everytime I want to get in here i need to call security and he said yep....well maybe your dippy front desk people should have given us the right keys in the first place!I don't even know how I'm gonna get one because they are only open 9-5 on weekends and I work both days 8-4:30 so it's not gonna be easy. Anyways, my friend Steven also wanted to go see Oz with me tonight but he wanted to go at 11:50 and it's 2 hours so it would end at 1:50 and with previews and travel time, I wouldn't get to bed until 2:30 AM and I need to wake up early for work tomorrow. So, I asked if we could go tomorrow so that I could take a nap if necessary tomorrow and he was cool with it. Now I can't decide if I wanna watch a movie on Netflix or just go to bed... P.S. since I will definitely be coming right back to the apartment I will be updating with pictures tomorrow!

Crazy, Blur of a day

I woke up today just like in the movies. Not the birds chirping, ahh this is gonna be a beautiful day type wake up but the "Police open up!" Kind of movie. Security came in and woke us up at 7:15 this morning. They headed right for my roommates locker and found this good sized knife so we both had to go down to security and give statements, they took our id's and then our other two roommates had to go give statements. My roommate and I both had to go back when we were called to meet with the housing director. When we got back to the apartment my roommate started throwing all his stuff on the ground saying that he knew he was gonna get terminated and then he got called down. When he got back (almost an hour later) he did end up getting terminated.

I was still waiting for my call which they said would come anywhere from 9-11. My other roommate that I usually do stuff with suggested we go somewhere else since my roommate was packing and crying. So we did, we got gas for his car and therm waited in the clubhouse. Even though I'm nervous and stuff they never called me... until 11:10 they call me and tell me to come down and I told them I was there already. So I met with the housing manager. All she asked was what happened so I told her and she said okay you really didn't need to meet with me, the situation was already handled but thank you for your time. So I got my id back and went back to the apartment.

My other roommate went to work and so I just went back and Steven had said we should grab a quick lunch before he went to work, plus he also had a roommate get termed so we went to wawa (which is like subway) and had lunch. He told me about his roommate and I told him about mine. it was a good way to discuss everything.

Then when I came back to the apartment, my roommate was in bed with his I guess girlfriend (not messing around but just laying there) so I grabbed my stuff and left. I decided to go to the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. I got pictures of all the toparies (coming soon). I ate a crab tostada, a peach bubble tea and a glass of mango wine. I later got Steven a surprise gift. Then I went to Test Track and then went back and picked up my gift. I tried to make it back before my roommate left but that didn't work. So he left.
My friend Alyssa from back home was in town for one more day so I met up with her and her grandparents at the Boardwalk and we just chatted for a while. Then she had to leave. So we said our goodbyes and she was off. After that I visited Steven at work. Then I grabbed food and headed back to the apartment. I gotta say it was weird seeing the one side of the room empty.Anyway,I got to taljto any i after that I was gonna go see the new Oz movie but when we got there we found out the times I looked up were for Downtown Disney in California....00ops! So we headed to another movie theater, more or less the same. So I didn't see Oz tonight, maybe tomorrow!

Flower and Garden Festival

Another exciting day at work! 5 checkouts! Anyway, a lot of my rooms today were kids on their senior class trip. I wish I went to Disney for my senior class trip, I wish I had a senior class trip! K also got to set up a Do Not Disturb Bag. The only tip I made today was 2 dollars in one of my occupieds! So that kind of sucks.

After work I headed to the Transportation and Ticket Center, I was gonna go to the Magic Kingdom but I ran into my roommate and we headed over to Epcot instead on the monorail. In all the times I've been here I have never gotten to ride the monorail to Epcot! So that was cool to try.

Today kicked off the 20th annual Epcot Annual Flower and Garden Festival! We walked the countries and I took pictures while we both stopped for various foods. First thing I tried was a meatloaf sandwich. It was alright I wouldn't take the time to go out and get it again. In Mexico I got tacos de carrits ( pork tacos) . next I got the crab toastada. My roommate got one first but I had to try it. We later rode the Gran Fiesta Tour. After that I bought some pins and the. We grabbed some funnel cake with berries, delicious!! Finally I decided to try some Blueberry Beer, it was awful but then again I never really liked beer, my roommate said it was good but I dumped it. Finally we ended the night with Spaceship Earth. Fun fact, did you know most of the characters in this ride are recycled models from the Hall of Presidents, look a little closer next time ;)

After that we headed back and I found out our apartment is now non-wellness since our youngest roommate celebrates his 21st birthday today! And so that was my night. Pictures will be coming probably tomorrow!

I can't wait to go back to Universal!!!

Work as always is such a pain. Not only did I have to wake up at the usual 6:45 but I had only gotten 4 hours of sleep cause I got home so late last night, I know my fault but, ugh! My roommate was telling me how he just got a season pass to Universal Studios and asked if I wanted to go after work and I said if i'm not exhausted, sure. So I headed to work. We had our meeting, which I was almost late for other than that nothing really to report. My board today was worse than I anticipated, 6 check-outs and 13 occupied rooms. So, I did a checkout and then I was told that one of my occupied rooms was now a checkout so make that 7!

I managed to finish all my checkouts by about 2:30. No tips today but I did get 4 of those chocolate Mickey Brownies (those things are like 5 bucks in the park!), some pop tarts, mac and cheese, a sprite and some milk. In my last checkout there was a tall slender box and it said "Thank you maids!, this is for you!" I didn't want to open it because I was pretty sure it was alcohol so I waited for the manager to check on me and when she did I had her open it and it was a cheap bottle of wine from Disney (picture at the bottom soon), also there was a small bottle of Merlot. Unfortunately, we can not accept alcohol so I had to open it and dump it (he should have left a tip instead).

Around 3:30 Zobe came to help me, luckily I only had 3 more rooms cause I was rushing through those occupieds, then Zobe told me that the executive housekeeper was checking rooms and I was really hoping she didn't check one of mine, thankful she didn't! So I left around 4:30 by the time I stocked my cart and of course I had to walk back. It actually got warm today and so I wanted something cool. I grabbed a Shamrock Shake at McDonald's and ate one of the brownies on the way back.

My roommate was waiting for me. I changed and left again and because I needed proof of Florida residency I had to get something printed in the front office. We finally headed to Universal and since they close at 7 we only were there for about an hour. I got my season pass and then we headed in! We rode The Amazing Adventures of Spider-man ride. Very cool ride, I thought the effects were pretty cool and then headed over to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and rode Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. I must admit I jumped a few times and the spiders freaked me out but it was fun!

After that we got some Butterbeer and headed towards Citywalk (which is open longer). We got dinner there at Panda Express and then walked around for a bit and then headed back to the apartment. Oh my goodness there is so much I want to do there! I'm glad I got the pass for the rest of my stay! My roommate (the one I share my room with not the one I was with) left around the time we got back to head out apparently for the night since he packed his uniform for work tomorrow...I don't know how I'm gonna survive tomorrow, Joanne and Zobe are both off and the manager who has been there is off as well! So i don't know what's gonna happen, hopeful it will all work out.

I'm slowly starting to get it.

This morning was a little rough, my roommate had to wake up at 5:45 and of course his alarm woke me up. So because I didn't have to get up until 6:45 I tried to fall back asleep but I couldn't. I got up and went to work I had 5 checkouts today and 13 occupieds.

I had some guests come up to me and they couldn't open the door to their room (older couple) and they knew they were in the room next to their friends, oddly enough their key cards didn't say their room number. So, I called the front desk and they told me their room number and it was a room I hadn't cleaned yet, so they said they would wait with their friends while I did their room. Luckily Joanne came and helped me finish their room. she suggested I leave them a note. I did, I wrote Mr. and Mrs. ... I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and I hope you have a magical stay with us, Sincerely your housekeeper Scott. They seemed nice so why not return the favor, this is Disney. I did make 14 dollars in tips.

Joanne did help me with my checkouts (she is a checkout assistant after all) she is also taught me a quicker way to make beds, so that was helpful! She is the best! I did love when I was rushing to finish and of course I find a room with all the sheets off the bed and then I find a pile of towels on the food next to the bed and find a code v (throw up) yay! Luckily we just call housekeeping dispatch and they send someone to clean it, thank god cause I can't do throw up I just can't. By the end of the day they did send another housekeeper to help me and her name is Zobe she is great as well. She also had some tips on how to move quicker. So slowly I am starting to get the hang of things.

After work I stopped back at the apartment and changed and Skyped with my mom. Then I rushed out to the post office and mailed something birthday gifts to an awesome little guy who is turning 5 next week! I also found out another friend/ co-worker from back home is coming to visit me after all! And I thought she was gonna blow me off for Mexico! After that I decided to visit my friend Steven at the Animal Kingdom Lodge where he works and talked to him, we were meeting up at Magic Kingdom later since they are open until midnight tonight.

After that I went to Magic Kingdom and just to kill time went on the Peoplemover, yikes what a mistake it got stuck four times! The last time it got stuck they came around and let all of us out and walk off the ride cause they couldn't get it working again so oh well.

Steven and I met up and rode Space Mountain then we headed over to Big Thunder Mountain and rode that three times and then on the way out he grabbed an ice cream and I grabbed a BBQ slaw dog and fries.

We headed back and when we both got to our apartment complex they had traffic at a stand still and no one could get in, for what ever reason they were towing one of the buses that takes people to work, I don't know if it broke down or what but we sat there for at least 15 minutes and now it is 1:30 in the morning and I have to get up for work. Kill me now!

Rock may be better after all

Today was my first day in the Rock building and my first day with 18 rooms. Now the good news is Rock has no suites but the bad news is they get a lot of groups so that means a lot more checkouts everyday. Also, they usually give us our board before we head over to the buildings, now they apparently give them to us at the buildings. So I headed over there and my new manager Indy short for Indiana and she was glad I found my way over there. Today I had ten checkouts.

Luckily, in Rock they have a checkout assistant who strips your beds so she was doing that for me, her name is Joanne and thank god she did. She even went so far as to make my beds in one of the rooms and thank god she did or I never would have finished. By the end of the day I got a two liter bottle of Coke Zero, a gallon of milk and 25 dollars in tips, so not that bad in that respect.

By the time I got back it was after 4:30 and all the golf carts had already gone back to base so the manager offered to give me a ride. So, I rode with her and she was telling me how she was a CP in housekeeping just like me. She said her manager told her to apply for a professional internship and obviously she got it and liked it and now she is a manager, finishing getting her masters degree as well. And to top it all off she is from New York too. So I'm definitely gonna like her way more than the other manager in Jazz but she is only the fill-in, the really manager was off today so we will see how it goes tomorrow.

After work, I grabbed McDonalds because I didn't get a break and was starving. Then I came back to the apartment, changed and my one roommate wanted to go to return his costume (uniform) so I went with him and we went to the Polynesian. We tried to get in to eat at Ohana but couldn't so he grabbed a Dole Whip and we headed to Magic Kingdom.


We watched most of Celebrate the Magic (the show projected on the castle) then we were gonna head towards New Fantasyland to watch the fireworks but on the way we walked by the Hall of Presidents and decided to watch that cause I had never seen it. Boy was that something I will probably never want to see again, total snorefest, I'm sure if you love history you would like it but it was just eh okay.

After that we ate at Columbia Harbour House and decided to head over to Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain. We stopped and watched everyone dancing at Club 626 with Stitch. Then we rode Space Mountain. After that we left because it was cold and the park closed at 10 so we had to leave soon any way. When I got back I got to talk to my best friend from back home for a good 40 minutes and boy did I need it! I'm missing her and everyone, but slowly I am adjusting.

Sometimes, it does get better, but not by much

This morning was a nightmare. I got my list of what I had to do today or housekeeping board as it is formally known and it was so much work that everyone I showed it to was shocked at how much there was to do. I had 5 checkouts, 2 linen changes and a general clean (which is when you have to clean every inch of the room, it took my trainer and I a good 3 hours to do one before) on top of all that I had 18 rooms (16 cause two were taken off) and I was in two different buildings on three different floors. I even took time to tell my manager that I didn't think I was gonna get all that done and all she said was "Well you only have 16 rooms." Reminds me of another manager... Anyway, I was seriously freaking out at the amount of stuff I had to do that I seriously have never wanted to quit as much as I did this morning. So after I cursed and shouted and complained to Facebook, I set to work.

It worked out pretty well. My checkouts weren't that bad, I mean they could have been way worse. Also, the manager came to check on me and she told me that I no longer had to do my general clean. She also gave me the tip from that room with the general clean..28 dollars! So I did all my rooms in building 9 then went back across the courtyard to building 2 and started on my rooms there. At about 1, Greg (Martha's most recent trainee) was done and he came to help me. He helped me for two hours straight, in about 7/8 rooms. I got a three dollar tip in another room and gave it to him. Later, the manager checked on me again and she told me that she had my tip from another room. So when I left she gave me another ten dollars! I gave half to Greg for helping me out. In the end I made 33 dollars in tips and in one of my checkouts I got a 2 liter bottle of Diet Pepsi and 4 bottles of water.

For the first time in forever I actually finished at 3:30. Thank goodness for Greg or I may have killed myself. In the end my day got a little better, but now I have the move to another building completely to look forward to. After work, I went on a mission to find the nearest Hallmark store and I found it, only about 20 minutes away! Boy, did I feel at home after going there. It smelled the same, when someone played the Mama Hen for Easter I still knew all the words, even the music was awful! Just like the one I worked at! I bought some cards and headed out. I stopped at Target got a few things and ended up at Taco Bell. It's no Mighty Taco but it's alright. I actually tried one of those Dorito Tacos and it was alright but I don't think it was worth much more than a regular taco. Anyway, after that I headed back to the apartment because it was cold today and now I'm just relaxing and I'm gonna crash early since I'm exhausted. Also, i got some cards in the mail today and some encouraging words from friends and I wanna thank you all who have had my back as I stumble through this rough patch, you are all great :)

Ice Cream Always Helps!

Work today was just a pain all the way around. First we had our morning meeting, snore. Then we got our boards and I had two checkouts and a linen change for a grand total of 16 rooms. I did my two checkouts and as I was doing that an Asian couple stopped me and asked me to get someone to help with their bags. I honestly had no idea who to call so I just called the front desk and told them. They asked me if the couple was old and I said no cause they weren't they had to be my age. So I guess someone helped them.

Later in one of my occupied rooms I noticed the floor was soaked and so naturally I wiped it up and then it came right back. I could tell it was a leak so I just called the manager to the room and she came. She called maintenance and since we had a moment she told me that now that I will be at full capacity of 18 rooms tomorrow that I will now be moving from Jazz to Rock. So no more suites but a lot of groups....

Later I felt a little nauseous and dizzy so I knew I had to take some kind of break so I sat down in the breakroom for 15 minutes. I ate a bag of chips and two rolls. Then I went to finish my rooms. At the end of the day I had just my linen change left and thank goodness the house person Maritza came to help me or I don't know what I would have done!

After work I headed over to Animal Kingdom since they were open until 6 and I rode Expedition Everest not once, not twice but three times! I'm trying to get used to the going backwards feeling. Then I grabbed some food from McDonalds and decided to visit my friend Steven at work so I went to Animal Kingdom Lodge, walked around and got my souvenir pennies and talked to Steven for a bit and told him I had a surprise for him on Wednesday, (I was trying to get dinner reservations because he had never eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table but no luck. So I settled for Tonys Towne Square since he loves pasta and its pretty good there too.) Why Wednesday you may ask? Cause he is off and I'm off Thursday so it works out..

After that I was gonna go to Hollywood Studios because it was open until 10 but I didn't I just went to Downtown Disney. I got my free chocolate from Ghirardelli and bought some stuff at World of Disney then got some pins at the pin store. Finally I ended the night by getting a Warm Brownie Sundae at Ghirardelli. I went back to apartment to find a whole group of people having a Disney movie showing and they didn't even invite me so I am heading to bed. Picture soon!
