Messy Rooms

Right from the start I knew it was gonna be a bad day. I woke up and it was raining. I headed to work and we had the morning meeting. We discussed proper procedures to follow in the event of an emergency and since it needed to be translated into three languages it took forever!

I thought I was gonna have a lot of checkouts today but luckily I only had two. Unfortunately, my occupied rooms were the German cheerleaders, my god are they a mess. First they stick chairs outside their rooms right in. The walkway and they drink and smoke right there. I know what you're thinking and yes these are high school age kids, apparently it's alright to do that stuff in Germany. The rooms were a nightmare, gum stuck to the floor, condom wrappers, stuff all I've the beds, I mean I've in rooms before but these were brutal. I fear I will have them as checkouts tomorrow. I finished up at about 3:45.

I was gonna help Shaye but Martha was in my building today cause she got pulled and she still had 10! So I helped her and Shaye did as well. We finally finished around 4:45. We clocked out and checked the schedule, I only got one of the four days I requested, so wasn't to happy about that.

I drove Shaye home and then decided to try Chick-Fil-A, it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a while.after that I was gonna meet up with Steve at Magic Kingdom but it started to down pour so that didn't happen. I just laid around until I went and got gas and then chilled until I started to doze off.

Hallmark friends reunite in Disney!!

Last day off for a while :( I woke up at about 8:30 again cause my stupid back was killing me! This mattress is gonna be the death of me!! Steve wanted to go to Company D since we didn't get to yesterday, but he wasn't ready and he said he was gonna be awhile so I decided to go to Denny's and get a decent breakfast for once.

After breakfast, he still wasn't ready so I headed to Hollywood Studios and finally got a FastPass for Toy Story Midway Mania. Then I left and he was finally ready so we met there. I got some cast exclusive pins and a new i.d. holder cause mine was ripping. Then we went to cast connection. I almost bought this sweatshirt worn by people in the Disney Channel Rocks show from Hollywood Studios since that closed, but I was told it was ugly so I didn't. Steve got this blue sports jacket that to me looks like the ones they wear in Soarin.

Steve had to head to work so I went with him cause he was gonna explore his resort. We walked around there saw a hidden Mickey on this one stairwell and a giraffe really close to the hotel. Then he had to head into work and I headed to the Contemporary. I walked around there and then walked to Magoc Kingdom. I talked on the phone with my sis for a good 45 minutes. I got a Fastpass for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin for my collection and then I grabbed dinner at Columbia Harbour House.

After that I got a FastPass for Winnie the Pooh to keep, which came with a surprise one to for Mickey's Philarmagic. My friend Gail from work back home had just got into town today with her husband, daughter and future son in law and her and her husband were just going into Mickey's Philarmagic so since I wanted to see them so I waited by the exit and they spotted me.

We walked over to Haunted Mansion together and rode that. Teresa and her family were in the park to and we knew we jad to meet up to get at least one picture. We met up with her daughter and son in law and we went on haunted mansion again. We headed over towards the castle to get a spot for Celebrate the Magic but completely forgot about the Electrical Parade so we had to move for that.

We watched the parade and met up with Teresa and her family. Naturally it started to rain. So we tried to watch Celebrate the Magic in the rain but that didn't really work out, but we did get the picture of Teresa, Gail and I. After that Gail was gonna stay for Wishes but Teresa and her family wanted to leave so I walked them out and offered them a ride back since it was crummy and it was there last day. So I drove them back, we said our goodbyes and then I headed back myself.

Lazy Day Off

Days off have got to be favorite. I really don't care what I end up doing as long as it's moderately fun. I woke up at around 8:30, I'm telling you these mattresses are awful, I have to wake up cause my back is in pain. I Skyped with my mom for a while. Around noon I finally drove to Animal Kingdom Lodge, met up with Steven and we went to the ESPN Wide World of Sports. o guess Steve's sister wanted a shirt from the international cheerleading competition that was taking place there. We thought we could just get the shirt and leave but apparently we had to get in to the arena cause that's where the merchandise is so we had to get a ticket.

Luckily, cast members got complimentary admission for today. We went in and I swear to you I felt like I entered a Bring It On movie. It was loud, crowded and there were so many people bending in ways I could never imagine were possible! We ended up finding the shirt on the ground floor, probably about thirty feet from where the cheerleaders were performing and guess which team was up?? Australia, yes the ones whose rooms I've been cleaning for the last two days. After getting the shirt we got out of there, my god what a nightmare that was.

Next we headed to the Cast Connection building. We tried going to Company D as well but being Sunday we forgot it was closed. So after Cast Connection we headed back to Animal Kingdom Lodge and had a quick lunch at The Mara. Steve went in to work and I left. I was gonna go to Magic Kingdom but I somehow missed the exit and ended up heading back to the apartment. I decided to roll all my coins since my jar was almost full.

Then I ended up going back to Animal Kingdom lodge because I wanted to sit out and read my book for awhile and Steve told me the Kidani pool was pretty empty. So I read for awhile and said hi to Steve as he made his rounds. I was trying to decide if I wanted to see a movie and I ended up deciding not to. I just grabbed some food and headed back to the apartment. I learned that Eeyore will be making his last appearance in Animal Kingdom on May 9th. He will still be at The Crystal Palace but you have to pay to see him there. Also, the 3:00 parade at Magic Kingdom will be changing next spring to a completely new parade. Instead of 9 floats it will have 24! See talking to my roommate let's me learn all of this stuff.

Two days off!! Hooray!!

Work was just okay, tired me out. No checkouts today but the rooms are bad. I had the same rooms from yesterday so Canada and Australia. I swear whatever day they checkout is gonna be brutal. Luckily, I'm off the next two days! Thank goodness.

After work, Teresa said she wanted to try to meet up again but she didn't really say when so to kill time I went over to the Polynesian but couldn't park so instead I went to The Wilderness Lodge. I did the penny press there and just walked around. He. I headed back to the apartment. After a bit I decided to go get a pizza because I was starving! They are only 6 bucks at Hess and they are delicious.

Since they had a rough time with the buses, I picked Teresa and her family up and drove them to Downtown Disney. We shopped for a while and at one point I bought a bottle of pop and in the minute it took me to get it they said someone got proposed to, said yes, got up and walked away. I swear that I personally didn't hear or see a thing! At about 11 they were ready to call it a night so I drove them back and I headed back myself.

The parks are better with friends!

This morning at work started with the morning meeting. We were lectured for 35 minutes on the proper way to dress and be groomed. The whole thing was just bull. Then I got my board and unlike more than half the housekeepers who just had occupied rooms, I had 6 checkouts on two different floors. I was lucky enough to get the Canadian and Australian cheerleaders as opposed to the Ecuadorian ones yesterday. I finished at about 4:10 and made about 28 dollars.

I was pretty excited to leave because my good friend Teresa from back home was coming down today! She told me that her mom, sister and her were heading to Epcot so I met up with them there! We rode Spaceship Earth since I guess Teresa's sister doesn't do to many rides. Then we went on Mission Space because Teresa had never done that before. We only went on the green cause I told her it wasn't bad. Her sister waited for is while we rode.

With that our tour of the countries began. We started in Mexico, got some food at the stand for the festival and rode the Gran Fiesta Tour. Then we continued to Norway and rode the Maelstrom. We walked the rest of the countries and got fish and chips for dinner in the United Kingdom, which Teresa's mom was so mind to buy. As we were eating these two ducks were like on top of us the whole time and they got really close. Teresa's mom ended up feeding them so they got closer and when I didn't feed one it pooped right by my feet.

After illuminations the park closed but there was extra magic hours. So, even though you are supposed to show your resort card, no one had to when we got onto Journey into Imagination with Figament. It was the first time Teresa and I had ever ridden that. It was weird. I'm not gonna lie it was like an acid trip, seriously what the heck is that ride?? Finally we headed over to Soarin. They checked for resort cards then but only Teresa's mom had to show one and they were like oh you're altogether and waved us in. It said 40 minute wait but it was more like 15. After that we were all pretty beat so we headed out and hopefully we will meet up again tomorrow!

No way can I do this another 3 months

My day at work in one word... Nightmare. I had 8 checkouts, a linen change and the rest all occupied on two different floors. My morning started out with me getting pushed by one of the ladies from Haiti in the linen room as I was getting my metro. I said excuse me and she then said it to me and then said something in kreoyl. Rude people! Then as I tried to catch the elevator, every single time it came up another guest cut in front of me to take it. Later in the day as I started racing the clock, my one room, I knocked three times, said housekeeping and nothing then I opened the door and the guy was standing right there and he was lie blah blah in Spanish.

Then the executive housekeeper (the person above my manager) was like checking my room or something. Later when it's almost time to leave, I catch a break by getting to give one room towels and taking their trash. So I did. They later ask if I will change the sheets on bed and naturally all 6 people needed to stand in the room while I did it.

Then I got stopped to give all these people shampoo and soaps. Apparently the Ecuadorian cheer team just checked in, yay us! I eventually finished by 4:35 and then left. I was to exhausted to do much so I got gas, stopped at Target for a few little things and grabbed dinner and went back and crashed pretty much. I did find someone who is a character performer who is from my hometown on Facebook and we started to talk.

Bon Appetit with Chef Mickey!!

Today for some random reason I had off. I slept in til 11 and then was really woken up by the people power washing our building.
I left about 1:30 and headed to Epcot. All I really wanted to do there was get a Fastpass to keep for Soarin since I know they always go quick. I headed over, got one, and then just got some soda at Club Cool. Then I left!

Since it was pretty warm I decided to hit up Blizzard Beach. I did the Snow Hill Racers, the Lazy River and the wave pool. I only stayed for a little over an hour but I got to cool off so it was worth it. Steve had texted me and asked if I wanted to do something, so I drove back and met up with him at Chatham.

He wanted to eat so he made hamburgers. They weren't bad! We couldn't decide where to go! I had mentioned Universal by they closed early, he mentioned Magic Kingdom but they closed at 9 for some reason. Eventually we decided on Animal Kingdom, only we got there at 6:20 and the park closed at 7. So we just headed over to Everest and rode it, once, twice, five times. We talked to the greeter for Everest who turned out to be a CP as well. We just said hi cause she looked kinda bored at the moment so we made her a little happier!

We were gonna head to Magic Kingdom next but for some odd reason they closed at 9. So I was gonna park at the Contemporary so we could actually make it but once we were inside we decided to try to eat at Chef Mickey's. We waited for over an hour and we finally got in. While we waited Steve had discovered my blog, up until this point no one currently doing the program was reading it, so I can't talk bad about Steve anymore (just kidding!) We got to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. The lady sitting next to us was nice enough to take our picture with each character. Naturally, we returned the favor! I liked when the little girl with the lady next to us didn't want to eat broccoli and her mom was like but Mickey made it so you have to eat it! Our pictures were fun! We got a good one of both of us on either side of Minnie giving her a kiss. Steve got the same thing but by himself because he was wearing his "I'll be your Mickey" shirt. while I was eating I was looking the other way and Donald was standing right next to me in my face so I jumped when I saw him. Apparently he as there for awhile! Goofy passed us but came back and he asked us (by asked us I mean he wrote the letters CAST) on the table asking us if we worked here so even Goofy knew! When we left the Contemporary both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (our other option) were closed so we just headed back to Chatham.

Steve had promised Ricky he would return Pitch Perfect. So we had to do that. The since we get paid Thursdays, Steve got gas and while he did I got us smoothies from Wawa, since that's where we were. Once we headed back Steve wanted to watch Wreck-It Ralph. I knew he was gonna fall asleep, but we put it on anyway!

Naturally, he fell asleep and so did I. At the end of the movie I woke up and decided it was time to go to bed so I headed back and Steve was still out so I just left cause I told him if he fell asleep I was leaving haha.

Breaking out the good camera

Work was sucky as usual. 5 checkouts and 3 linen changes.. I did actually take a lunch but I probably shouldn't have. I still had two checkouts at 3. I did finish at about 3:45. Since Shaye (the other CP) had 4 more rooms and only 1 on the floor I was on. So so did the one room by me since I was done and I had 3 DND's anyways (which means you can't leave until 4:10).

There was a 10 dollar tip in her room and despite the fact that I didn't get any tips today, I was honest and gave it to her. When we turned in our keys the manager was getting rid of a coffee maker, brand new in the box and she let me have it! So that was cool.

I grabbed McDonald's because I didn't want to spend money in the parks. Then I went to Chatham. Steve wanted me to go with him to some Chatham party but we all know those are horrible so while he went for a bit, I typed my blog from yesterday.

Steve somehow got Fastpasses for Fantasmic so we headed to Hollywood Studios and rode Rockin Roller Coaster, I mean it was only a 20 minute wait!! Then we headed in to see Fantasmic. Note to self the FastPass and dining package seating is HORRIBLE! I even brought my good camera but we were on the far left of the stage. You could practically see behind the stage it was awful! So if you ever wanna see Fantasmic just wait in line it's better.

After Fantasmic we headed to Magic Kingdom. We watched Wishes and then we got some treats, Steve had a funnel cake , I had a waffle with strawberries and we both had a liberty slush. Then we watched the Celebrate the Magic castle show and of course the Electrical Parade.

Ricky rode back with us and we decided we all wanted to watch Pitch Perfect so we got of from Redbox and watched that! After that I headed back and for some reason the door to my room was locked so so had to call and wake up my roommate to let me in, don't really know why that happened but I didn't really wanna question it...

Happy 15th Anniversary Animal Kingdom!!

Today I woke up early (for once) because not only was today Earth Day but it was also Animal Kingdom's 15th Anniversary! So I headed over there at about 10:30 (believe me that's early for me on a day off). I walked by the line to buy commemorative merchandise and almost cried. So, in the meantime I got a FastPass to keep for the Kilamanjaro Safari. Then I decided, well this is the reason you came here to get merchandise to celebrate the anniversary so I got in line.

I talked to this lady in front of me the whole time. She was pretty nice. She told that she was an annual passholder and that she's a foster mom for three kids. I gave her some sorcerer cards so she could complete her set, that made her day. We also discussed General Hospital (a soap opera that I watched for awhile, don't ask me I don't know how we go on the topic). After waiting two hours (that's right I waited two hours to buy stuff! Listen if people can wait an hour to ride Peter Pan's Flight which is a 3 minute ride I can wait two hours to buy stuff that will only become more valuable with age!)

So, I finally got in and what they did to organize it they had people come in and they give you an order form with all the stuff, you put the quantities you want next to the picture and then hand it in, then they bring you a bag with everything in it then you go to a table and make sure everything is there and then you go to cash out. It was very organized I must say! I ended up with a t-shirt, an iPhone case, and a whole bunch of pins.

After that I got another FastPass to keep for Dinosaur. Then since I was starving out of my mind I went to my favorite quick-service restaurant which is Flame-Tree Barbeque and ate there. Without even pulling out my I.D. the guy knew I was a cast member it was pretty cool. Then I got another FastPass to keep for the Safari again. Next, I headed to Dinoland and rode the Primeval Whirl. On my way out of Dinoland I got an ice cream and again they already knew I was a cast member! I was like how did you know and he was like I don't know you just have that look about you, thank you I'll take that as a compliment! Then I got another FastPass to keep for Kali River Rapids. Then I made sure I was in the front of the park to watch the parade, because I knew that the parade circles the Tree of Life and it is impossible to get out of that park unless you're towards the front.

I got a good spot right in front of the Tree of Life towards the exit for Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade. I'm glad I got to see it because they added some floats and at the end they added a whole bunch of characters. They added Kenai and Koda from a Brother Bear, Pocahontas and Meeko, Lilo and Stitch, Thumper and Miss Bunny, and Flik and Princess Atta from A Bug's Life.

I left after that and headed over to Animal Kingdom Lodge and said hi to Steve. Then I went to Target bought some food and then because I'm crazy, I went back to Animal Kingdom! I got another button. Then I rode Everest. I headed out after that since the park was closing soon and got more buttons at Guest Services.

I'm still on the hunt for a certain set of pins so I headed to Downtown Disney to see if they came in. Unfortunately they did not. So, I left there and headed to Taco Bell and then back to the apartment. I started to watch E.T. and then my roommate wanted me to American Horror Story but I fell asleep before it was over! Sorry it took so long to post!

The Place Behind the Pines

Finally a day off!! I slept in until maybe 9. I got up and ended up talking to Steve and since we had food from Olive Garden, I said I kinda wanna watch Wreck-It Ralph again (since I fell asleep last night) and so I headed over to his apartment and we watched that again. I gotta say after fully paying attention it actually was a really good movie.

After that Steve had work so I headed to Magic Kingdom. I parked at the Contemporary Resort, went in and traded pins and then walked over. I got a Fastpass to keep for the Jungle Cruise. I was gonna try to see the Fairies again but the wait was 70 minutes so haha no. I got another FastPass later for Dumbo .

Next I headed to Universal. I went to CityWalk and got the meal and movie deal. I ate at Pastamore again and then went over to the movie theater and saw The Place Beyond the Pines. It was a pretty good movie. I liked how they made the three separate parts of the movie connect and I liked how Buffalo and Rochester were mentioned since it takes place in NY. Also, I couldn't look away when in one part the guy is walking through a drug store/hallmark store. He's walking through the cards and I see Shoebox and Between You and Me and I'm just like wow this reminds me of my old job so much right now, it was crazy!

After the movie was over I headed back to Chatham and decided to do laundry, just cause I wanted to get it over with so I did that and then I was out like a light.

Rough Night for the Parade

Work was okay I guess. I only had one checkout but the guest was still in the room at 11, then 12:30 and still at 1 so I told my manager and they ended up having to change the lock because they couldn't get a hold of the guest so they need to pay for another night in order to get there stuff. I got to take an hour lunch but, my favorite part of the day had to be when a guest came and stopped me in order to give me a tip. You see it was a group of high school kids and when I saw the money on the nightstand I thought oh these are high school kids they won't leave me money so I didn't take it. Then later she came out and was like this is for you. It was so nice! I mean half the guests don't leave me anything as it is so for her to do that for me was awesome.

After work I wasn't to sure what I wanted to do. Steve then called me and told me that he got an early release and that he wanted me to meet up with him at Animal Kingdom. Since that's literally a two minute drive from my work I did. We got a Fastpass for Everest. We were gonna ride Primeval Whirl but the wait was too long so we rode Dinosaur. Then it was time to ride Everest. We rode one more time after that and then headed out.

We drove back to Chatham because I wanted to change to jeans and Steve wanted a hoodie. Then we took his car to Olive Garden. Apparently they are having a buy one meal get one for only 12.95. So we did that it was so good! I can't even remember the last time I ate at Olive Garden.

Next we headed to Magic Kingdom. We got there just in time to see Wishes. Then we headed to Adventureland because I wanted to see Tinkerbell and her friends cause this week is fairies week so instead of just having Tinkerbell with one friend they had her with three! So we met Tinkerbell, Fawn, Vidia and my favorite Silvermist! After that we got a spot to catch the Electrical parade (not a parade with electricians by the way) and I gotta say it was a rough night for the parade.

Right at the beginning one of the snails went out completely so they stopped the whole parade. Alice sounded a little nasally which was weird. The Fairy Godmother was not on the back of Cinderella'a coach and the awnings that are carried over the dancers were missing completely! But since it was 11, there was no one waiting to see the parade. Seriously I could do cartwheels where we were standing that's how much space there was. Good news is I was able to get good pictures with everyone looking at me since there was no one else to wave to . Cinderella posing in the carriage had to be my favorite it looks beautiful.

Ricky needed a ride home. So Steve offered him one and naturally Ricky wanted to get McDonalds so we went there and then headed back. Steve and I really wanted to watch Wreck It Ralph so Ricky let us borrow it. I watched most of it but I may have dosed off in the middle so I need to see it again. Then I called a night.

To tired!

After having a lot of checkouts yesterday I thought I'd catch a break today... Nope. I had 6 checkouts and a linen change. No one left until like 10:30 so I couldn't get into my checkouts until almost 11. At the end of the day my boss, asked me to be friends on Facebook, which I thought was weird and cool at the same time. Eventually I finished, my feet were killing me. As much as I wanted to go out, I just didn't have the energy.

So, I grabbed a pizza and headed back to the apartment. I watched last week's glee, boy what a tearjerker that was! Then I was downloading all the pictures off my phone so I had storage space, besides 1,500 is a lot of pictures to have on your phone.

Then I shopped on iTunes and read for a little bit and then completely passed out. Not that exciting I know. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Tough Day = Fun Night

Work was a nightmare today!! 9 checkouts, 2 linen changes and the rest just occupied. I didn't finish my checkouts until 2:30! I was sweating so much I thought I was gonna pass out, it was ridiculous! On top of that I was worried about my friend and coworker Greg because he just had someone very close pass away and it's been really tough for him. He seemed better but not a lot. At least I got to see him!

After that, I met Steve at Magic Kingdom. He was wearing dress clothes cause he had a class today. So once he realized how hot he was we went back to Chatham so he could change.

Then we went to Epcot and rode Spaceship Earth and I actually got to play the games at the end of the ride! We grabbed some soda at Club Cool. We decided to ear at Via Napoli at the Italy Pavilion, probably the best spaghetti I've ever had but the serving size was rather small for the price and there was no bread or anything so I'm not sure if I would go there again.

We then headed to Magic Kingdom. We got a fastpass for Space Mountain, rode the Peoplemover during the castle show which was kinda cool. We then got in line for the Astro Orbiter which we hoped to be on while Wishes was going on but we missed by a few minutes.

Then it was time to ride Space Mountain! We rode that and then said hi to Steve's friend who was working Mickey's Philarmagic. Next we saw Mickey's Philarmagic and then as we were heading out we caught the Electrical Parade.

Ugh... Roommates

Work wasn't to bad, only occupied rooms but I can't help thinking that I'm gonna pay for it tomorrow. In one of my rooms there was a note with five bucks saying they are celebrating a birthday today. I have no idea how to make towel animals but I looked it up on my phone how to make a cake and it turned out pretty good! I had a few guests who told me to come back and then decided they didn't need anything so that wasted my time. Other than that typical day at work.

My roommate made me go see this dumb movie with him after work. So I headed to Downtown Disney, got dinner at Earl of Sandwich, talked to my sis on the phone and then met up with him. We saw The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. It wasn't horrible but I don't think I would see it again.

Then I got an ice cream and talked to my friend Teresa for a good hour and a half and ended my night by walking in to the apartment with people taking shots like crazy. Sounds like a fun thing to come back to right?

Love talking to my friends back home!!

Same old at work, 5 checkouts, no lunch. After work, I met Steven at Hollywood Studios and we went on Toy Story Midway Mania! It was Steve's first time so naturally I won haha next up was Rockin Roller Coaster, only a 20 minute wait, seriously how could we not!? My roommate texted me and pretty much told me that we were going to a movie and I already made plans. He tells me that he already got a ticket and he doesn't want to go alone. I say I can go tomorrow so, he gets a ticket for tomorrow and then asks me where I am, then he calls me twice. I just wanted to hang out with my other friend, is that okay?? A little later I got to talk to my favorite sister and Steve and I headed to Magic Kingdom.

We tried to get into Be Our Guest, they said come back a little later, so we got some goodies at Storybook Circus. Checked Be Our Guest again, nothing, and went to Mickeys Philarmagic. Checked one more time for Be Our Guest and still no luck, so we rode Haunted Mansion and then headed over to Pecos Bills for dinner.

We ran to the front of the castle to watch Wishes and the Celebrate the Magic, castle light show. After that we waited for the Electric Parade and watched the Celebrate the Magic again. I tried to record it but ran out of memory on my phone. Before the parade begin, I stepped away to talk to my best friend!! It was so great to talk to her!! Then after the parade, Steve got ice cream, while I talked on the phone for a good hour (I miss my best friend!) and then we headed back.

Great Deal!

This morning I woke up around 8:30 ish. I went to Denny's and then I decided to check out the Beach Club Resort. Next I ran to the apartment, grabbed my bathing suit and headed to Typhoon Lagoon.

At Typhoon, I went in the wave pool. I got in the lazy river to get to the other side of the park. Next was the Crush 'N' Gusher, then the storm slide and then again went in the lazy river to get to the other side. Then I rode Keelhaul Falls and Mayday Falls and ended my day back in the wave pool.

My roommate had asked me to meet him at Universal Studios, so I headed there. We bought this deal where you only pay 21.95 and you get dinner at select restaurants and a movie. In the meantime, We rode Hollywood Rip, Ride Rock it, the Simpsons ride and E.T. Adventure then we saw Megatron from Transformers out walking around, getting ready for the new Transformers ride. After that we headed to dinner. We ate at Pastamore, it was so good! Then we went and saw Scary Movie 5. I wouldn't say that it was great but it had its hilarious moments and I'd probably watch it again. All in all I would totally do the dinner and a movie deal again! Then we headed back and I decided to watch Paranormal Activity 4, ugh back to work tomorrow.

Character Palooza!?!?

I'm not sure how it happened but I didn't leave until 1:30 today. I woke up at like 9 so I have no clue what the heck I was doing for so long. While I was back at the apartment I found out about this thing called "Character Palooza" I guess it is this big rush of characters from Fantasmic in one area for a short period of time so naturally I wanted to check it out, it all depends on when the first showing of Fantasmic is so since it was at 8:30 they were supposed to have it twice once at 4:50 on the Streets of America and again at 5:20 by Echo Lake, each group having dofferent characters, so I headed for Hollywood Studios.

When I go there I bought pins. Then I walked the Streets of America where the characters are supposed to be, nothing. So, I checked the Animation Building the other place where it was rumored to occur, nothing. So, I got a Fastpass to keep for Rockin Roller Coaster and since it was only a twenty minute wait I went on.

I made my rounds again hitting both the Streets of America and the Animation building, again nothing. So I got ice cream and made the rounds again. Just as I was about to park it by Echo Lake and give up, I saw a group of people across the lake, so I headed over to check it out.

I was so happy cause I had found it!!! Character Palooza! It was great, so many characters and very few people waiting because it is not in the times guide, you just have to know about it. Lets see there was Stitch, Chip and Dale, Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Green Army Men from Toy Story and Mulan. I only got my picture with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee because those are the only two I hadn't seen before. If you like to get your pictures with the characters then you have to try this!!! It was pretty cool.

After that I rode Tower of Terror twice and got a Fastpass to keep. Then I rode Rockin Roller Coaster again and then I headed to Epcot. I got a Fastpass for Mission Space and naturally because I got it to keep I usually ride that ride. So, I rode the green side of Mission Space, it wasn't bad at all, I'm still heaitant to ride the orange side though. Then I rode Test Track and headed to Target.

I got a few things and then grabbed dinner at Panda Express and I headed back to the apartment. Naturally there was some party going on so I just went to my room, ate and watched an episode of Glee. Then I crashed. All in all I'd say it was a pretty successful day.

Ya'll having a good time?

Work kinda sucked. I had five checkouts and the rest occupied. Shaye (the other CP) couldn't get into her rooms because they were all a senior trip that was still in there rooms so she helped me for a bit then went back to her rooms. I finished about 3:15.

I headed back to the apartment complex and met up with Steven and we headed to Universal Studios to see Pitbull at Mardi Gras. Best part was that it was free cause with our annual pass we get into Mardi Gras for free. Bad part was we had to stand waiting for an hour and a half.

Once the show got going it was amazing! Pitbull really knows how to get the crowd moving! He sang a lot of songs that I recognized!!! Which was awesome! Usually when I see someone in concert I know a few songs but other than the Spanish songs I knew most of them!! He really knows how to put on a show!!!

After the concert we went back to Steven's apartment and just kinda chilled until it was suggested we go to Steak' n' Shake. So Steven, Ricky, Juan and Nick all came along. The waiter kinda sucked but other than that it was okay. We went back and we all crashed for the night../-

Cast members really do make a difference!

Work today wasn't bad. I originally had three checkouts but since there was a CP networking event at 4 my rooms got cut back. So I only had one checkout and one linen change. My checkout wasn't bad and the linen change had someone sick inside so they just wanted towels. I took an hour lunch and still finished at 2:30.

The event was kinda boring. I mean it was somewhat interesting to learn how some people have worked their way up from being a CP to being a whatever they are now. After about three people talked we got to get punch and pastries, the eclair and chocolate covered strawberry were very good and I got paid while I was there!! After that the other CP housekeepers were talking about possibly going for drinks at Applebee's and invited me. Then my roommate asked me to do something (I swear I'm his fall back option) and later the housekeepers changed there mind so I met my roommate at Magic Kingdom.

I got there before my roommate and I saw a cast member sword fighting with a little boy, despite not knowing the guy or the boy it put a smile on my face so I was sure to write a compliment card for him. When my roommate got there he decided he wanted to play the sorcerer card game, of course I left mine in the car so he made me watch him play... Ugh. After he beat Dr. Facilier we got a Fastpass for Big Thunder Mountain. In the meantime we ate at Pecos Bills and then rode Pirates of the Caribbean. We headed back and rode Big Thunder.

Next we rode Haunted Mansion and It's A Small World. He wanted to leave but the Electrical Parade was coming so it took forever! Finally we left and I headed to Downtown Disney and got a Warm Cookie Sundae at Ghiradelli and then I headed back to the apartment.

This morning, despite it being my day off I woke up around 8:30. I Skyped with my mom and then headed to Blizzard Beach with Steven, Ricky and Steve's roommate Juan. First we did the Toboggan Racers. Next, the Slush Gusher, Teamboat Springs,Cross Country Creek, Downhill Double Dipper, and ended at Meltaway Bay. Then we grabbed lunch.

After we ate I drove Ricky and Juan to work. Juan works at Hollywood Studios so we went there first and since we still had an hour before Ricky had to work we went on Tower of Terror. Then we got in line for Rockin Roller Coaster but disk have enough time to wait for it, so we left. I dropped Ricky off at work and then I went to the Contemporary.

I traded pins ( completely disregarding the 2 per turn rule) then walked to the Magic Kingdom. All I did was play my Sorcerer card game. I beat Jafar and Radcliffe. Then I got gas and let my roommate at Downtown Disney. We went to the dine-in theater and saw G.I. Joe. I gotta say if you're one of those people who likes movies that have a good plot and character development then this is not the movie for you. If you just like movies for the action sequences then this is perfect. I honestly didn't understand why anything was happening in that movie or why half the characters were there now but not the first one. Good news is I got an Oreo mudslide and it was amazing!!! And now I have work again so I'm gonna crash.

Movies are getting gory!

Same old with work.. Only 1 checkout and 1 linen change so not bad. The manager told me today that we have a part time employee and because she wants extra hours so she may take some of my days when my mom comes. So that was good. Oh I almost forgot and 2 AM last night the fire alarm for our building and there was smoke coming out of third floor. I know here were first rucks there and there was a lot of smoke! I'm not sure why it happened but I've heard a deep fryer was involved.

Anyway after work I went to Animal Kingdom. I was gonna get my commerative Fastpass for the safari. They were all gone so I just told the guy by the ride why I wanted one and he had me walk the whole line just to get one but I did . I rode Everest twice. Then I tried to get another Fastpass for Dinosaur but hey were out to, so I left.

I visited Steven at Animal Kingdom Lodge and got stopped in the gift shop by someone who worked there and she asked me how my vacations going. Since I didn't have the right way so I just said played along with it! After that I headed to Hollywood Studios and rode Tower of Terror, twice. Then Rockin Roller Coaster!

Finally I ended up at Downtown Disney and I saw the movie Evil Dead at the dine in theater. That was literally the goriest movie I've ever seen! I can't decide if that's good or bad!

Amazing how one thing can change your mood

Pretty much the same old, boring morning meeting, work 5 checkouts. One of my rooms got a quality assessment and I got an 88% which isn't to bad I guess, also I made five dollars in tips! After work, I headed to Hollywood Studios. Now that spring break is over wait times are perfect! I rode Tower of Terror (only a 10 minute wait) and then Rockin Roller Coaster ( only a 20 minute wait!) Steve wanted me to go to this thing called Night of Stars in which college program kids perform in a talent show. By the time I got there they were full, but Steve got in so I did some more stuff. I did the Backlot Tour and Tower of Terror again.

Finally, after what feels like months not talking to her, I got to talk to my sister! It was just wanted I needed to put a smile on my face! She told me her son was watching a Disney movie and when they showed the castle he asked "Is that where Scott lives now?" I think that is so funny and cute! I wish I'd have heard it.

I met up with Steve right before Studios closed and we went to Magic Kingdom together. We got a Fastpass for Space Mountain and also went on since the wait was 15 minutes. Then we rode Winnie the Pooh. Next up was Big Thunder mountain and Splash Mountain. Then we headed back to Space Mountain. We rode it with our Fastpassess and one more time. We caught the Electrical Parade, grabbed some food on the way out and left.

I'm getting so daring! It's crazy!!!

I finally got to have an actual breakfast!!!! My roommate and I went to Ihop for breakfast and it was so needed I can't remember the last time I had anything besides cereal or pop tarts cause I never have time! After Ihop we headed to Typhoon Lagoon. We went on what I guess is an water roller coaster called the Crusher Gusher.

Next we did one of the coolest things I can now say I've done, we went to Shark Reef and swam with sharks (small ones not Jaws size), sting rays and tropical fish (I saw at least two dorys!) As cool as this sounds, I don't feel I enjoyed it as much as I could have. See first you are in cold salt water, you are given a snorkel and mask and naturally you breath out of the snorkel. I am naturally a nasal breather so doing that wasn't easy already so of course I sucked in some salt water and got it in my mouth . I've tasted salty stuff but holy crap was that water salty! I was. coughing for at least ten minutes afterward but still it's pretty cool to say I swam with sharks! We then hit the wave pool for a bit. I got to see my favorite character, Stitch then headed out.

Next up, we headed to Universal Studios. For those of you who know Universal, Islands of Adventure has two big roller coasters (The Hulk and the Dragon Challenge) and Studios has only one the Hollywood Rock It Rip It. So since I went on the Hulk yesterday, guess which one I did today??? That's right Hollywood Rock It. It's cool that you get to pick you're own music to listen to while you ride it, I picked Hella Good by No Doubt, good song to ride a roller coaster to. My roommate said this one was not worse then the Hulk, I thought it was! Still I would probably try it again!

After that we went inside where the makeup show is and checked out the props. Then we saw this magic show in which they are more or less showing you how to use stuff they want you to buy. I saw the levitating trick, cards, these ball things that multiply and my personally favorite the flaming wallet. As we were walking out to head to islands. I got to see some of the characters out that you can meet and greet. I saw Dora and Diego, Scooby Doo, The Simpsons and Marilyn Monroe with Lucille Ball. I just thought that was such a weird collection of characters to have in roughly the same area at least Disney characters flow better.

Once we were in Islands of Adventure we got to see the Superheroes come out. They come out on four wheelers which was pretty cool. Lets see there was Captain America, Wolverine, Storm, that other girl from X-Men in the green suit, Cyclops and Spider-Man. Then my roommate made me go on the water rides. We went on Popeye and Bluto's River barges and got soaked and then we went on the Jurassic Park River Adventure.

After that we headed out and went to some mall that was deserted which was creepy so we left immediately and then went to the outlets. After that we picked up a pizza and headed back to the apartment and watched Back to the Future Part 2. Unfortunately I have work again in the morning, I don't know how two days flew by so quick! Also I will take some time this week to add pictures although they are already up on Facebook if you can see them there.

Slow but Successful Day Off!

This morning I got off to a slow start. I didn't wake up until About 11. I did some laundry and helped my mom plan her trip down here. Finally at about 3 I was ready. That's when my roommate came back. He then asked me me if I wanted to go to Universal so we did.

I saw the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, that was pretty cool. Then we rode ET's Adventure, I thought that was a weird ride. Next was the Hollywood Movie makeup, that show was hilarious!! We grabbed some dinner and then my roommate mad me ride the Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster, omg that was bad. For those who don't know, you are pretty much upside down the whole time on Hulk.

Then we headed to Hollywood Studios. We rode Tower of Terror and since the wait time was actually short we rode Toy Story Midway Mania. Finally we hit Walmart and went back.

Worst Day of Work..... Ever

I'm not sure how I did my board today because I had 15 checkouts, 15. I only have 18 rooms so that means almost all of my rooms were checkouts, I'm gonna let that sink in..... Yeah so thank goodness there was a checkout assistant who stripped my beds.

Other then that I did 12 completely by myself. The last three someone made the beds and did the towels and stuff. No tips in any of my checkouts, but I did get one of those ten dollar Mickey balloons, some dove chocolate and a bag of cheez its from some senior girls that was kinda nice. By some miracle, even after complaining to the manager I finished at 3:45 before most housekeepers today. Some said they were proud of me or good job and I was just like why??

After work I couldn't believe how exhausted I was. My everything hurt, I must have at least three blisters on my feet, my back hurts, my neck hurts, I literally just want to crawl in a whole and die. I have never been in so much pain. Seriously if I ever have that many checkouts again I will quit, I was not happy. So then I just got a pizza and went back to the apartment. Watched some stupid movie on Netflix and just relaxed until about 11:00.

I decided to meet Steve at Magic Kingdom again... I guess that wasn't the best idea cause he didn't wait for me to go on Space Mountain. So I went on the Peoplemover. Then as I continued to wait I rode the Astro Orbiter. I met up with Steve at the ice cream parlor on the corner of Main Street, Ricky was with him. We ate ice cream and then left. Later we met at Steve's apartment and watched Back to the Future then once everyone crashed and the movie ended I headed back to my apartment.

Awful day gets a little better

It's days like today that I wonder why I wanted to do housekeeping. I had 5 checkouts, 3 linen changes and the rest all regular rooms. I just think it sucks how they can't breakup checkouts so that one person doesn't have them all. I did have checkout assistant on two of my checkouts and the manager did send someone to help me at the end of the day.

The other thing I hate is all these people from Haiti, they are just the rudest bunch of people! They don't care about anyone other than each other. This one lady though has gotten on my nerves more than once, she is the one who took my vacuum a while back. Well today a guest stopped her and asked for extra towels and she takes them from my cart! She had more towels than me so when I saw her do that I said "Yes I see why you could t take them from your cart!" She didn't say anything but she drives me nuts! The sad part is most of them are like that, I'm not trying to sound mean I'm just telling it like it is.

After the headache of a day, I went to the Polynesian and got a Banana Cabana which you better believe has alcohol! I sat on the beach listening to music and drinking that for an hour and then read my book or another hour. Then I headed to Downtown Disney. I got Earl of Sandwich for dinner. I got the Holiday Turkey, A Chicken Caesar salad and some broccoli cheddar soup.

I ate at the apartment and my roommate fixed my laptop so that I could get on the Internet, thank goodness! And then I headed back out to Magic Kingdom since they were open late and I met Steve there. We rode Pirates, Prince Charming's Carousel and then the Peoplemover. As usual it goes into Space Mountain by the ride must have broken down cause all the lights were on! It was so weird seeing the actual track, I got a few pictures I'll post later but it was just weird to see that! We then rode Big Thunder Mountain and Steve wanted to ride Splash but I told him I didn't want to get wet, so he went by himself, I felt a little bad, but not enough to get wet. Then we headed out and went back to the apartments. Tomorrow should be a doozy! Alot of people checkout tomorrow, I'm scared!

Hectic Day, Slow Night

Work was a little stressful today. I had 3 checkouts, 5 linen changes and the rest all occupied. Two of my checkouts didn't leave until 12:30 which took time. Luckily one of my linen changes just wanted me to grab their towels and garbage and he gave me 10 bucks! In another occupied I got 20! And with 12 from my two late checkouts and another dollar in another occupied I got almost 50 bucks today! Towards the end Greg came to help me and so did Shaye. I finished about 3:30 so not bad.

After that I headed straight to Downtown Disney and got a ticket for the movie The Call. It was pretty good! I gotta say I was on the edge of my seat most of the time and the ending was perfect! After that I wanted to ride Tower of Terror really bad for some reason! So, I headed to Hollywood Studios and checked the wait times for that and Rockin Roller Coaster, they were both over an hour wait so I left.

I grabbed dinner at Taco Bell and headed back to the apartment. Steve texted me saying he wanted to go to Magic Kingdom when he got out of work at 10:30 so I tried taking a nap from 9 until 11 but ended up staying asleep instead of getting up. I felt awful! He said it was okay I mean I never said so would go in the first place. So after texting him, I crashed!

Deja Vu at work

I'm happy to say I got another regular 18 occupied rooms and because of that, even after my half hour lunch I still finished at 2. The fill-in manager we had today was pretty rude, glad we don't have her on a regular basis. Then I once again helped Greg and finished up by 3:30.

After that Steven was off again so we grabbed dinner at Wawa Then we were gonna head to Hollywood Studios but it was down pouring so hioiin the end we back to Steve's apartment to watch the new Les Miserables, we stopped at my apartment just so Steve could see it and then we went to his apartment. The movie was pretty bad. I literally was falling asleep and was able to guess what happened next. Hopefully the broadway verison is way better!

I really need to stop exhausting myself

I hate when you have two days off and then you have to go back to work. Naturally I was late by three minutes. So when I walked into the morning meeting it was weird when everyone kinda looked to see who it was but oh well. Then I was given the key to the pargo and got to drive that again and I hit the pole...again.

I only had 18 occupied rooms so even with an hour lunch. Despite the nastiest toilet clog I've ever seen,I still finished at 2. So I helped Greg to finish but the manager came and found me and said I should help people who had a lot of checkouts but I look at it as they don't help me so why should I help them.

After work I met up with Steven and we went to Animal Kingdom. We rode Kali River Rapids and Everest. We decided to make a reservation to eat at the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater so then we headed to Hollywood Studios and we wanted to ride Rockin Roller Coaster but the wait times were once again ridiculous so we rode Star Tours. We got in line to ride The Great Movie Ride but we were gonna cut it to close for our reservation so we left and headed to Sci-Fi.

Then Steven dragged me to Magic Kingdom and made me ride Splash Mountain and after that despite being exhausted we rode Space Mountain and then we headed back, can hardly wait for work tomorrow :(

Boring Day off becomes busy after all

I can't believe I slept in until almost 11 today! It was great!! By the time I got my butt in gear it was almost 1:30. I didn't really know where to go so I just headed to the post office.

I was starving so I was just gonna head to Denny's nearby but instead I decided on Flame Tree BBQ so I headed to Animal Kingdom. I got a FastPass for the Primeval Whirl and then grabbed lunch. After lunch I was just kinda waiting for it to be time to ride Primeval Whirl, so I bought some pins and just waited. Then I got another FastPass for Primeval Whirl (to keep) and the used the first one to ride it. Next I headed over to Everest. Thank goodness for that single rider line, I got some good pictures especially because I was in the front row.

After Everest I got some ice cream and headed out. Next I headed back to the apartment complex because I had a package, my dear friend Michelle and her family sent me a little Easter goody bag with treats, it was so thoughtful!! After that I headed to Epcot. I visited Ashley at work and then I was gonna go on Test Track but the wait was ridiculous so I didn't and then I just left and headed to Hollywood Studios.

I was gonna ride Rockin Roller Coaster but the wait was long and so was Tower of Terror. So instead I got a FastPass for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid and then waited the five minutes to watch that. Ariel did not look like Ariel and she couldn't see to wonderfully either. After that I checked both rides again and they were still long so I left. I grabbed dinner and then headed back to the apartment. I Skyped with my mom. Then I started to watch this movie called Crash but the computer stopped working so I will have to see what I can do.
