Day 1 Complete

We made it! We drove from Western NY all the way to Beckley, WV. We stopped in Bridgeville, PA around 12:30 PM and had lunch with my mom's good friend, despite her broken ankle her and her husband still made time to have lunch with us at Eat 'n' Park. It was great to see them! Then we got back on the road around 2PM we had a little mishap because we wanted to get gas and use the bathroom but, after we got gas, we passed by the McDonald's and got back on the thruway, so then we tried to pull over again and got a little lost in some trucker parking lot, my mom panicked cause she thought we blew a tire but we actually just a speed bump and I had what I thought was an empty bottle of milk in my hand but it sprayed the window and the dashboard. Then I was trying to grab a bag out of the back seat and my ring fell off in the backseat. After that we got back on the road and in the right direction. We got to Beckley around 6:15, checked in to our hotel and then went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner, which I thought was a bit over-priced for the small portions that they served and we got a piece of cheesecake to go, it was so small we could have put it in a Ziploc sandwich bag but instead she put it in this giant dish and then a shopping bag for take-out. Now it is almost 10PM and I'm exhausted so I am gonna call it a night. Talk to you soon!
