Road Trip Day 2

Early this morning we got back on the road. After grabbing some complimentary breakfast at our hotel (selection was not the best but hey that's why it's complimentary!)we left Beckley, West Virginia around 8:30 and it was 20 degrees there. We got to drive through two mountains (seen in the pictures) Big Walker and Cast River, I also included a picture of a mountain. We drove til a rest stop in North Carolina (I give my mom a lot of credit for driving for 4 hours straight)I also included a picture of the city of Charlotte in North Carolina and then we switched places, I had really wanted to try Popeye's since they always play the commercials at home but I don't think there is one near us, so we put it in our route and stopped at one in South Carolina. The food was okay,my mom thought it was to spicy but hey that's the South! I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again but it's okay for fast food, no worse then McDonald's. Then we drove the rest of the way to Georgia. I don't really know why but I really wanted to spend the night here. We got in at around 4:30. When we go here the temperature was 70 degrees! I still can't believe it's that different in different areas on the same day! Anyway, I really wanted to get a car wash because my car looks gross from all the salt back home but that unfortunately never happened maybe tomorrow. We ended up going to my favorite restaurant for dinner Red Lobster, of course cause it was roughly 25 minutes away it wasn't easy especially cause we had to cross over the thruway in Savannah but we eventually got there. I had one of the best strawberry daiquiri's I've ever had! After dinner we wanted to get back to watch Glee, so of course we hit almost every light! Luckily, we did make it back in time and I'm a little beat so I am gonna call it a night. I will talk to everyone again tomorrow when we get to Florida!
