Hollywood Studios

Today we went to our first park, a close second with Magic Kingdom for being my favorite, Hollywood Studios. Since the last time we were here in 2011, we never got to ride Toy Story Midway Mania, we made that a priority. We got at the park at around 9 and immediately went over to Toy Story and got Fastpasses and then since the wait was less than an hour (only 40 mins) we waited in line. It only took maybe 20 mins till we got on the ride. It was so fun! I was winning but in the end the final score was me 71,100 and my mom 71,600. After the ride we went right over and waited in line to see Woody and Buzz, it wasn't that long of a wait so it worked out. We then headed back to the big Sorcerer Hat because we hadn't eaten breakfast and by now it was 10:30 so we were just gonna get a pretzel but on the way we noticed a lot of characters near the hat so of course we had to get pictures! We were able to get a picture with Disney's second cutest couple (next to Mickey and Minnie of course) Donald and Daisy! Then we saw one of our favorites Stitch! Next, we headed over to the Legend of Jack Sparrow which is sort of like a show I guess? It was only 15 minutes long. I personally didn't think it was worth the wait but I suppose if you had little pirates then in probably would have been. Although I will say it was better then the Journey into Narnia that was there before that. Then we rode one of my favorite rides The Great Movie Ride! After that we ran over to the Art of Animation Building where they have some characters out and we got to meet Ralph and Vanellope from the new movie Wreck It Ralph! By that time it was time to head back to Toy Story Midway Mania for a rematch! I did much better, the final score was Mom: 79,300 and Me: 91,800! Next we decided to check out the Back-Lot Tour that was alright, I didn't think it was worth the 35 minutes it took but at least we got to see some cool movie props actually used in many famous movies like the Superman Cape worn by Christopher Reeve and one of the life boats from Titanic! When we got out of the tour, we saw there was a spot where you could meet characters from Monsters Inc. and Mike was there so we got a picture with him and then we asked when Sulley would be out and the girl told us in 5 minutes so we got back in line and were first to see Sulley and Mike! By then it was about 2:30 and we wanted to check out the Pixar Pals Parade at 3 so we headed over to a good spot and were right in front for the parade until so uncontrolled kids pushed there way in front of me, but I still got good pictures! The parade was done by 3:15 so we were making our way to our dinner reservation at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. On the way we saw Phineas and Ferb were out so we got in line for them and while my mom stayed in line I ran over and got my picture taken with Lightning McQueen and Mater from Cars. I came back and Phineas and Ferb had to go call mom so they left for a minute and we were getting nervous cause it was now 3:40 and we weren't sure we were gonna make it on time, but luckily we got to see Phineas and Ferb and we only had to wait 5 minutes at the restaurant. We decided to get Spaghetti and Four-Cheese Pizza, both were just alright and for dessert we got Chocolate Cheesecake and Tiramsu. The cheesecake was pretty good but the Tiramsu was just okay. After that we headed to see Fantasmic since we missed that last time as well and we got there at 5:30 and showtime was at 7 so we sat there for an hour and a half just to get decent seats, the show was amazing and total worth the wait! After the show we looked to see where the nearest Target was because we needed some bottled water and some snacks plus I wanted to know where it was anyway, it's only about 3 miles away and it's a Super Target which means they have a full grocery department! Guess I just found my new home away from home! That was it for today, sorry it took so long to post!
