A first visit to the Magic Kingdom is always amazing!

Today we had a pretty late start because the boys especially hadn't ever woke up early and stayed out late back to back. So, today we ended up at Magic Kingdom. We all agreed that Magic Kingdom was easily gonna take them two days to do. We took the monorail over which was the boys first time on the monorail, so that was exciting! On our way in we asked the boys if they wanted to meet the princesses and they said yes so we got FastPasses for it. Since we had awhile, Michelle decided which part they wanted to start at and that's where we headed. She decided to start with Storybook Circus!

Since the morning/early afternoon was already hot and humid we tried to see if the boys wanted to go in the Splash 'N' Soak, since she had brought their bathing suits just in case. The oldest wouldn't do it, he refused to get wet despite how much he loves the pool. The youngest said he would but only if both he and Michelle changed into their bathing suits and she didn't bring hers so it didn't happen. I suggested we meet Donald and Goofy in Pete's Silly Sideshow and since it's not only air conditioned but the wait was only 20 minutes, it was perfect.

After that we tried to decide whether to ride The Barnstormer (mini roller-coaster) or Dumbo. We ended up on Dumbo. They loved that they could play on a playground while they waited and the grown-ups did too. Pete (Michelle's husband) sat with the oldest, I sat with the youngest and Michelle went alone. They both seemed to enjoy the ride which was great! I was happy I got to go on with them, I mean a kid's first time on Dumbo is a big deal!

Next, we headed over to the Tomorrowland Speedway. This time I went with the oldest, Michelle with the youngest and Pete by himself. I just had to push the pedal. He did an awesome job steering, only bummed the track three times! Not bad for a new driver!! We grabbed lunch at Cosmic Ray's. After lunch it was time to meet the princesses!

As some of you may know, at Town Square Theater you meet Cinderella, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Rapunzel. So, we met Rapunzel first, the oldest said he was gonna ask her how Eugene was (for those who don't know that's Flynn's real name, and if you don't know who Flynn is then I can't help you) I didn't think he would actually do it but he did and it was the funniest and most adorable thing I've seen! The youngest asked about Pascal. They also discussed dragons. They must have talked to her for a while because the other two princesses were waiting by the time we were done! Aurora they didn't say much to because they haven't seen her movie, and Cinderella, I told the oldest to ask about the mice but I don't think he knew who I was talking about so he didn't but they talked to her for a little bit and that was it.

We headed on over to Adventureland after that and decided on the Enchanted Tiki Room. The youngest who not only likes birds but also seems to want to do almost everything a second time, wanted to do it again. The oldest didn't seem to like it. Next we rode the Flying Carpets of Aladdin, luckily we all fit in one carpet so that was fun. Next up, we did Pete's favorite Pirates of the Caribbean. The oldest was kinda freaked out because of the darkness so he sat in between his parents while the youngest sat with me. The oldest didn't like it at all, he didn't like the drop, he didn't like the dark and he didn't watch most of the time. The youngest said he wanted to do it again so I'm assuming he liked it.

After that we got FastPasses for the Jungle Cruise and in the meantime we got the infamous Dole Whips, which Michelle and her family have only had in Hawaii. The boys wanted to meet Tiana but that didn't work out. So, we rode the Jungle Cruise. The boys liked seeing the animals but they didn't get the corny jokes from the skipper.

After the ride we headed out cause we were all pretty pooped. We took the boat back, since we took the monorail over and just as we got back Wishes (fireworks) started so we stood on the dock and watched. Then we headed back and called a night
