My two favorite parks and more resort hopping
Today we again grabbed breakfast at our hotel, we also decided to trade some pins at the gift shop and we ran into some lady doing the same thing. She was so nice, we talked to her for about a half hour and she let us take some of her pins. She insisted she didn't want any of ours but as we were talking she said there was one set she was trying to get more of so we insisted we buy her some so we did get to do something in return! After that we headed to Hollywood Studios, we almost got clobbered by two different people, one who didn't know which way they were going and the other who got out of line to get into the park but then wanted to get back in cause he realized that was the only way in (people drive like nut jobs here I swear.) Eventually we got in, we wanted to ride Toy Story Midway Mania but apparently the morning magic hour was there that morning and the wait was already 70 minutes and the return time for FastPass wasn't until evening so we didn't do that. Next we decided to checkout Star Tours since during our last vacation it was closed. It shakes you alot so we were both mildly nauseous after but that's alright I guess, nobody barfed so that was good. Then we walked up Sunset Blvd. Walked back to the front and rode the great movie ride. We finally found the Singin' in the Rain Umberella where you stand under it and step on this grate and it makes it rain, it's the perfect photo spot. Then we walked the Streets of America and Animation Courtyard and left. We stopped at our hotel cause it got much warmer then it was when we left so my mom wanted to change. After that we headed to the Contemporary Resort, had lunch at the Contempo Cafe and then we thought we were gonna take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom but we found out that it doesn't go directly there, it stops at the Floridian and the Polynesian and then to the Magic Kingdom but the Contemporary has a special walkway from their resort to the Magic Kingdom so we walked there and it was perfect only 8 minutes and not crowded. Unfortunately when we got there it was so crowded and there was lines for everything the wait for the Little Mermaid Ride was 105 minutes! Who waits that long? There were even lines for the card games so we got frustrated and left within in an hour and to that I say DON'T EVER GO TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM ON A SATURDAY!! (especially cause of the new Fantasyland) Just don't do it. However, if you are driving I would suggest parking at the Contemporary Resort and walking over, it's much quicker and you will get out way faster! So since we left their early we went over to the Port Orleans Resorts (Riverside and French Quarter) and walked around. Then we came back to our hotel got dinner at our resort, it sucked so we didn't eat much of it and we managed to watch the movie P.S. I Love You which was pretty good and that was about it.
