Oh, it's Valentine's Day?

This morning I actually got to sleep in but I had a pretty bad headache so since my roommate was gone and since my other roommate who was still asleep was the one I was gonna go to Animal Kingdom with, I decided to pop a Tylenol, grab a yogurt and lay back down. As I got to the kitchen there was a big bug that looked like a cockroach on our kitchen floor on its back so I grabbed a magazine and put it back outside cause I really didn't want to hear it crunch, after that I laid back down. I checked my phone and got a few texts from my friends for Valentine's Day which was nice to see. Also, I texted T whose birthday was today! I went on facebook and saw that a girl who I sort of talking to because she got housekeeping at the same resort as me, got terminated last night after only being here for a month, which makes me a little nervous... My roommate woke up and said we were meeting up with a couple of his friends, which was fine. So, we get in my car and he says they're in building 27, I would have liked to know I was picking them up ahead of time but that's alright, they were both nice girls. So after picking them up we headed to Animal Kingdom. Being that it was my roommates first time in Animal Kingdom we had to hit all the good stuff. First we saw the Festival of the Lion King, always a good show! Next we headed to Expedition Everest to get Fast Passes, I told them I didn't want to ride it but they said grab a Fast Pass just in case, so I dis. We rode the Primeval Whirl, now I am not a roller coaster person by any means, but this one isn't that bad it just is a little jarring especially when it spins you. Then we rode Dinosaur, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I don't know that I'd ride it again but it wasn't that bad. Next we grabbed some corn dogs and caught the parade. After the parade it was time to return to Expedition Everest, I still said no. I mean it's not even the fact that it's a roller coaster, it's the fact that you go backwards, in the dark. So they went on, as soon as they left this guy with his daughter had FastPasses and she didn't want to go on so he just set them on a ledge and this kid looks at me and picks them up and he says he left and I was like here want another one and gave him mine. It was perfect because it was him, his sister and his dad. So, he ran over to them and was so excited! I was glad I could help make his day! In the meantime I grabbed ice cream. They got off and the wait time was only 20 minutes and they wanted me to go on but I still said no so they went again and when they got off it was only 10 minutes so they went a third time. By that time it was raining pretty good so we left. They all wanted me to go to Hollywood Studios and ride Tower of Terror but I still don't think I'm ready, as much as I want to ride it, I don't know I'm a chicken I guess. So, we went to Epcot. We rode Spaceship Earth and then visited Club Cool which lets you sample different Coke flavors from around the world for free! I've heard it been called 'Epcot's Best Kept Secret' I personally liked China which tasted like watermelon. Next they headed over to Mission Space, to which I said no way and since they had a half hour wait I headed over to the Electric Umbrella and got some dinner and then after they got out we headed over to Test Track but it was closed due to the rain, which I was kinda glad cause that ride looks fast! So we went to Soarin. I really didn't want to wait the 70 minutes but it is a really awesome ride. I got on next to some little kid who was on it for the first time and he looked a little nervous so I talked to him and he told me they've been here since Saturday and that they were from Virginia. He was so cute he had to be 4 or 5. When we were riding I was talking to him like at the part when you are over the orange grove I asked him if he could smell the oranges, cause you can, and he seemed like he had a good time. After that we were gonna go see Ellen's Energy Adventure but that was closed and Test Track was back open, so we got in line and I figured oh great it's a 40 minute wait so I'm gonna contemplate over this for the next 40 minutes and freak myself out. Just as we got in line some guy gave us four FastPasses cause his family didn't want them and we got in the FastPass line we were on in like 5 minutes. Honestly, it wasn't that bad, I would consider going on it again. I mean there were no dips or hills, I would say the worst part is when you're going 65 mph outside on a curve but then again I've driven faster than that so that's why it was okay, haha! But seriously, I would probably go again.I found out that Wishes Fireworks Show at the Magic Kingdom is actually something that came from the Make A Wish Foundation and the little girl who sings in the beginning is actually a little girl who passed away, it's a really touching story. So, now everytime I see Wishes I'm probably gonna cry. To end the night we went to World Showcase Lagoon and watched Illuminations:Reflections of Earth Fireworks Show! All in all I'd say it was a pretty good day. Glad I didn't have to think about cards, gift bags or roses today! Tomorrow is my first day of on the job training, so wish me luck and pray it doesn't suck to much!
