Love is in the Air!

This morning began as a nightmare I had to be at work at 8:30 so I left just before 8 and since I told to park in the parking lot on the other side of the world I did and then I couldn't get the gate open once again, luckily security was coming out and they asked me do you have access to park here and I said I should, so then he tried his I.d. which also didn't open the gate so eventually he got out and lifted the gate by hand. I was almost late to work, I did tell them what happened but I wasn't late so it was fine. For today all we had to do were some classes on the computer, they included videos on Disabilities, Safety (Fires,etc.), Labor Operations which talked about scheduling, days off, switching shifts and the one thing I found interesting was that they do scheduling by senority, not availability so the longer you've been with the company the better chances of you getting a better shift, which I think is fair, and I had to read about Code 724 or Bed bugs.So I did and even though we were scheduled til 12:30 I was done with everything by 10:30, since I didn't expect to be done so early I went to the McDonald's right by where I park. I was hoping for breakfast but it was already after 11 by the time I actually made it over there so I had to get lunch and I just got a large fry and a caramel mocha. I knew I needed to go to Target but I also knew that I only have a few more days until my discount gets reduced back down to it's normal percentage. Also, since it is Valentine's Day Week, a lot of famous Disney Couples are throughout the Magic Kingdom, so after debating I headed to Magic Kingdom. While on the monorail, they performed a maintenance test which was weird. By the time I actually got to the park it was 1PM. I had read on AllEars.Net that the princes were with the princesses in Town Square Theater, which explained the 90 minute wait time. So I got in line, after waiting 20 minutes and not moving it all I decided to get a FastPass and my time was for 6PM and it was almost 1:30 so even though I hadn't planned on staying all day it looked like I was. So, I went into the Emporium and bought some stuff and headed toward the castle where the Rose Garden was very festive for the holiday! Next, I headed back to New Fantasyland, cause I had heard that Eric was with Ariel in Ariel's Grotto, but he was not because 'he cannot breathe underwater'. So, I walked to Bonjour Gifts and asked the greeter if she knew where the couples were and she not only told me but she gave me a map, circled where and wrote the name by where each of them were! I saw that the next closest one was Mary Poppins and Bert by the carousel, the line was actually not long so I waited for them, while I had my autograph book I didn't have a pen, so I ran over to the nearest shop and bought one, only to find out that to save time they weren't signing autographs and we were each given a valentine with their signatures on it instead. next, I noticed Cinderella's coach was out so I got a picture with that. The rest of the couples were up in Towne Square, so I decided to wait in Liberty Square and watch the 3 o' clock Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade. After that I remembered that Tiana and Naveen from the Princess and the Frog were in Liberty Square so I got in line for them. After that I bought some more stuff that I don't need and then I headed to Towne Square, while I still couldn't see the couples in the theater, I could see Snow white with her Prince across from that next to City Hall. I asked someone when she would be coming back out and they said 5:35, since it was only 4 I headed back to Adventureland where Aladdin and Jasmine are usually together, but the line was closed off when I got there, so I went to Pecos Bill's for a BBQ Sandwich and fries and then I tried Aladdin and Jasmine again. The line was still really long so I waited on them because I have already seen them together before. By that time it was about 5 so I shopped in the Emporium a little more and then got in line for Snow White and her Prince. Again, they didn't sign so I just got a Valentine and a picture. I still had some time before I could see the princesses so I got in line for Mickey which was a 30 minute wait but now it was only 15. The special surprise was Minnie was with him! So, I got a picture with both of them! After that it was finally time to see the princesses. So, I handed in my FastPass and she said it's gonna be a 15 minute wait and I said that's fine, better than the 90 minute in the stand-by line. It was more like a 25-30 minute wait.. in the FastPass line! I finally got in and got to see Cinderella with Prince Charming, Sleeping Beauty (Aurora) with Prince Phillip and of course Rapunzel with Flynn Rider. They had to be my favorite, I mean it was great to see all of them but Rapunzel and Flynn were the most comical, with them here is what happened. First, it is important to know that I was wearing a shirt with a tree on it (seen in the pictures). Rapunzel says "Oh I really like your shirt, see Flynn this is what I wanna start painting." and he looks at me and says "Yeah, I've been trying to get her to branch out." Then she said she liked my watch and says " I've been looking for a gift to give to Flynn what do you think about one of these?" And Flynn says "You just like everything you see today don't you?" And he turns to me and says "True Love is expensive so be careful, especially when you give them the smolder." To which Rapunzel says "I think you fell for my smolder a little bit." Flynn says "Yeah smolder and a little bit of sass." And then I said "I'm sure the frying pan helped as well." And we all laughed. Then Rapunzel says "You know what else I like, and she grabs my hand and points and my class ring and says this but I'm thinking on the other hand." And I said "Yeah Flynn when are you gonna get on that?" And he says I will and he kisses her hand. Then I asked for a picture of just the two of them and they both cross their arms with their backs to each other and I say "C'mon you two are in love, you can do better than that." So he spins her around and dips her back a little (see picture below) After that the Main Street Electrical Parade was in Towne Square so I got a few shots of that and then I left and headed for Target. I got some groceries and then headed back to the apartment. All in all, even though I was by myself, it was a pretty fun day!
